#Lore

”How much for those short swords and that pair of fur boots?” asked a weary traveler. “100 gold, that will be” replied the hooded Logax. Selling his self-made and handcrafted wares was a means of survival for Logax. And with this sell, he will have enough to eat tonight. And only for tonight. In the background, Logax locked sight on a presumed shopper. Even though the poorest resident in the slums of could afford to purchase a few basic necessities, this figure did not fit the normal shopper. Although she was not encrusted with the finest, all basic needs were met; clothing, armor, potions, even a set of clean weaponry. This was not one Logax could, or would trust.

”Nice wares…” spoke the stranger, her voice raspy and lacking energy. ”How much are your services?” “My wares bear no more than 200 gold” replied Logax. ”I’ll make you an offer on your services, along with your wares…” "I offer no services, purchase my wares or be gone" Logax said sternly.

A short quiet fell In the marketplace, as a few noticed the commotion. ”5000 Gold. 5000 gold if you deliver your wares in the neck of the target of my choosing” declared the raspy voice woman. Logax looked up, and for the first time locked eyes with the woman. ”Who?” Logax questioned with an optimistic head tilt.

”Ekko, the Boy who Shattered Time."

The lady dropped down 1000 gold in the lap of Logax, held within a thick brown cloth sack. She noted that he gold was for accepting this ‘delivery’. When Logax was complete with the delivery, the remaining will be his. This is all new to Logax, as he did know his way around a blade and basics of fighting, yet he was no trained or experienced assassin. But how can he resist the option to be able to afford proper shelter and food? 1000 gold can easily change trust levels.

A sharp toothed smile and yellow glowing eyes was all that was able to be distinguished from the covertly dressed lady. Logax looked down and around while asking “what dagger do you choose to deliver?” “The sharpest one” replied the stranger, her voice trailing off at the end. Logax looked up to confirm if his favor pair of war daggers would suffice. When he looked up, the stranger was gone. Nothing was out of the ordinary elsewhere. Logax did however hear a light ‘puff’ sound, and was able to see unsettling drifting purple mist in the air.

War daggers in hand, Logax headed to Ekko’s known location in the slums that night. Ekko, not known to be an earlier riser, was sleeping in the late hours before morning. Perched on a dividing wall above Ekko’s bed, Logax leaped down and ambushed Ekko, stabbing him in the chest. With a sharp yelp and blood splatter, Logax even stunned himself in this act. This hesitation gave Ekko enough time to set his Zero-Drive a few moments back.

War daggers in hand, Logax headed to Ekko’s known location in the slums that night. Ekko, not known to be an earlier riser, was sleeping in the late hours before morning. Perched on a dividing wall above Ekko’s bed, Logax leaped down and ambushed Ekko, just missing him by inches as Ekko rolled out of the way at the last second. Logax unsure of his next move, began swinging wildly with his daggers. Ekko, just as fleet footed as Logax, dodged many but not all of his wild strikes while back peddling. As Ekko's back finally hit a unescapable corner, Logax hesitated before delivering the final blow. Logax was no killer after all, and his mind and body were not in sync to commit this act. This hesitation gave Ekko enough time to set his Zero-Drive a few moment back.

War daggers in hand, Logax headed to Ekko’s known location in the slums that night. Ekko, not known to be an earlier riser, was sleeping in the late hours before morning. Perched on a dividing wall above Ekko’s bed. Logax head some foot shuffling and tried to turn around to see what it was. ”Not this time!” screamed Ekko. Already mid wind up, Ekko delivered a devastating swing to Logax’s head. Causing him to fall off the wall, and landing on and falling through the bed. Presumably what Logax thought was Ekko's body on the bed was really a collection of metal scrap pieces and electrical trinkets. This did not cushion the fall.

Rendered unconscious by his failed act, his next memory was waking up in a lab. Singed’s Lab to be exact. ”What happened” questioned Logax, seeing Singed working diligently on a chemical mixture a few tables away. ”Major bruising to the head, lacerations on the abdominals, and a hairline fracture in the upper half of your right forearm. Oh, and a minor infection... everywhere. Blame that on vial number eight. Such a shame number eight.” “Number eight?”, questioned Logax. “Oh yes,” replied Singed, ”after your 'incident'… you were deathly wounded. Someone took the time to dump your body near Mundo's Lab. I saw you in my travels and choose to spare you since I remember purchasing my shield spikes from you some time ago. Not to mention the horrible experience you would have suffered at Mundo’s hand.” “Thank…. Thank you" sputtered Logax.

A slow yet powerful recovery was provided by Singed, being a derivative of his insanity portion. As Logax grew healthier, he began to take study under Singed about chemistry and portion making. As a natural craftsman, he learned quickly and greatly. Singed eventually challenged him to create a portion that will only destroy plant life. Logax, able to see both a learning and profitable aspect of this, accepted the challenge. As Logax tinkered with different mixtures only to fail time over again, Singed crafted his concoction with ease. With only a day left in the challenge, Logax resorted to using an ancient runic enchantment to achieved the desired effect.

On the day of testing, both concoctions worked! Singe only knowing one way to create a potion of this effected questioned Logax on his chemistry. Confessing his aid with runic enchantment, Singed was disappointed as he sought Logax to stay true to the science of chemistry. Logax argued that all means creation should be valid. Later both had a hardy laugh as they destroyed all plant life around town. "You know," Singed said during the spree, "you can make a potion of destruction of all manner through your enchantment. It might be worth further trails." As Logax, purposefully hurled a vail toward an unsuspecting citizen, he smirked and said "there will be."

Logax did not forget his offer from the vanishing stranger. As the value of an assassination payout decrease with time, he knew he needed to act quickly if he wanted the rest of his potential earnings. Logax soon parted ways with his only friend to continue looking for his target. He knows he has the ability and will use any means to survive. Now including the death of another.

It doesn’t need to be pretty. They just need to be dead.

##R: Misery Procession

Channeled Cursor Guided Conic Area of Effect | On Takedown Spell Modifier | Applies on Hit Effects Range: 300 Conic Degrees: 30° - 60° Cooldowns: 30 / 25 / 20 Cost: 60 / 80 / 100 Casting Time: 1.4 seconds (.35 seconds per strike) Interrupts Movement: No

Killing an enemy champion grants an additional strike after the last strike, dealing the same damage in the same conic area. These can repeat indefinitely.

These strikes will proc the additional missing health damage from Poisonous Tonic if the enemy unit is poisoned.

⌈ Total Minimal Damage (No additional damage % increase per strike): 180 / 340 / 480 (+80% / 100% / 120% AD) in physical damage ⌋

⌈ Total Maximum Damage (Additional Damage % increase per strike): 210 / 395 / 560 (+80% / 100% / 120% AD) in physical damage ⌋

  • You may cast any ability or summoner spell to cancel the channel.

  • The range of the successive strikes do not increase, only the conic area of effect in regards to degrees will increase. In other words, the range does not increase, but the width does.

  • Logax will attack in the cone that he is facing while holding his movement speed. Champion movement declarations will not cancel this ability. Logax will continue to move as he channels the spell.

  • Using the stop command will his halt his movements but continue the channeled attack portion of the spell. This means Logax can change directions, and effectively change his area of effect.

#Summary

##Weaknesses

  • Logax’s low attack range and need to be near enemy units with his damaging abilities makes enemy champions with extreme mobility difficult to stick to and damage.

  • Logax kit and playstyle may different than other assassins, with his instant single targeted burst damage a bit lower, while holding the ability to kill multiple lower health targets simultaneously. His ability to effect the game may be stifled with opponents playing overly cautious and supports with a constant healing ability.

##Advantages

  • Logax’s kit allows him to strongly roam from his lane at any point. He can roam-assist an a gank with the Jungler, providing massive kill pressure with his gap closer and initial high damage output.

  • Logax can provide a use case for all summoner spells, all slightly changes how he can engage, attack and retreat from an battle.

  • Logax provides a moderate amount of damage from his area of effect abilities. Unlike other Assassins, Logax has the ability to trade and even kill an enemy champion in a 2 vs 1.

##Plays Well With

Cassiopeia Warwick Teemo

Cassiopeia Cassiopeia abilities can poison a large group of enemies or single targets with high dps. Either method allows the execution ability of Logax to remain in constant use, keeping the two as a dangerous pair on the battlefield. Additionally Cassiopeia’s ultimate allows ganking potential with Logax’s Ambush ability or damage multiple enemy units at once in a spell cycle of Logax’s abilities and frequent availability of a conic area of effect ultimate attacks.

Warwick Warwick’s ability to sense weak enemies can aid in assassination target selection for Logax. Through utilizing teamwork, any solo and weak champion can be attacked on different approaches and find it difficult to escape alive. Both champions have the ability to hunt and chase effectively, but can do so with even more lethality together. There is even strength in early skirmishes in 2 vs 2 fight in the jungle with their kits.

Teemo Teemo can provide ambush assistance though his mushroom placement. It provides useful map vision and controls restricted areas on the map. Not only does it slow the target, but also provides the poison that aids in Logax’s execution ability. Prior to level 6, Teemo’s stealth passive can turn any seemingly 1 vs 1 ambush into a 2 vs 1 ambush if the patience and coordination is granted. His ability to blind targets takes away a method for Logax’s ambushed victim to fight back, forcing them to use summoner spells to escape.

##Struggles Against

Ekko Leblanc Akali

Ekko Ekko simply gives Logax a hard time. Ekko can dash away from any unseen ambushes, then can slow Logax to deter any chase potential. Ekko’s large area of effect stun and shield makes sustained combat with Ekko unwanted and ineffective. Finally, if Ekko was in deep trouble, his life saving ultimate will help him either escape or gain enough health to overturn Logax’s attempts.

Leblanc Logax is fast, but Leblanc can everywhere she was to be in a blink. Logax’s short range, and need to be near an enemy to use his quickest available skill makes Leblanc’s difficult chase and stick to — the greatest strength of Logax. Leblanc’s passive may trick Logax into wasting his damage and effort into killing a clone.

Akali With her high mobility and damage, she fairs even in trades with Logax. With her additional invisibility, she can decided when and where the fights take place. Logax thrives on continuous skirmishes, and her invisibility takes this method of battling away from Logax. Lastly, Akali primarily builds with the life steal and spell vamp in her kit, giving her ability to trade well then sustain back above Logax in lane.

##Interactions

SingedFriend Logax learned the basics of potion making and chemistry from Singed. Logax looked to enhance his concoctions with magic while Singed is focus on the pure chemical nature of his craft. Singed helped Logax recover from his first assassination attempt that failed and greatly wounded him with a strong potion. Very few are friends of Logax. Singed is one amongst them.

Allied Singed Jokes “Hey, uh, Singed… got any potions that makes me more… (said quickly and in a low voice) attractive.”

Enemy Singed Jokes “Don’t make me tell everyone why you have to cover your mouth with those wrappings, Singed." ”Your breath is worthy of your name, Singed.”

##Champion Design Inspirations

Talon Twitch Riven MasterYi Evelynn

##Intentions

  • I wanted an assassin concept that able to move and kill at the same time, hitting multiple opponents. Additionally, I was trying to make an assassin concept that was not single target burst machine.

  • I also wanted to avoid relying on a stealth mechanic while being able to set up ambushes for solo jungle wanders. This is forced from the Ambush portion of his ability.

  • Lastly, I was looking for an appropriate use of the vial as seen in the champion depiction. Poison was an acceptable application to his look. Additionally, this poison causes a storyline interaction with Singed as he learns his skills from trial and error, and through teaching of experts.

##Champion Animation

Standing Logax stands with one foot in front of the other, intermittently looking behind him. If he stand still for a while, he will crack his neck by tilting his ears towards each shoulder, then do a quick upward toss and catch of one of his daggers.

Movement Logax shoulders slowly circle in a front to back rotation, with a frequency of one rotation every four steps per shoulder.

+400 Movement Speed Each of Logax's shoulders rotate every other step, he leans forward slighly, and raises he knees higher per step.

Auto Attack Logax swings from the outside in a swipe from his right dagger, then the same swing from his left dagger. This cycle repeats.

Critical Strike Logax swings a low and upward curving gut shot with his dagger. This will swing from the arm that is next in his cycle from his auto attacks.

Recall Logax will spin the dagger on his right hand in the following manner:

Empowered Recall Logax takes one of his daggers and gives it a quick toss upward. He then takes his other dagger and catches the thrown dagger with the point of the dagger in his hand. He balances both daggers for the remainder of the recall. At the base, he flicks it up from the point and catches it.

Death Logax drops both of his daggers where he stands and falls forwards as he crumples up.

AFK While Logax is AFK at the fountain, he will do a quick and constant short up-throw and catch of his daggers.

Dance Top Rock

##Ability Animation Q: Preparations Logax hunches over and squats a bit while the empowered attack is readied. Logax will lunge both daggers into the auto attacked unit from this stance.

Q: Ambush Logax uses a double legged, long jump-ish leap to dash to the target. When he arrives, he uses both daggers at once to stab his target with an downward swing.

W: Poisonous Tonic Logax uses his right hand to hold both daggers and quickly double dip them both into the vial on his hip, then quickly flick one of the daggers into his left hand.

E: Paired Carving Multiple Targets Logax stands upright and straight quickly. While doing so he reaches both arms out in full extension stabbing each target from a downward motion.

Single Target Logax swings both daggers outward in a semi-circle, stabbing the target on each side of their mid-section.

R: Misery Procession First Attack Logax use a wild and forceful swing from his left dagger from right to left, twisting his body while dipping his right side to add extra power into the swing.

Second Attack Logax use a wild and forceful swing from his right dagger from left to right, twisting his body while dipping his left side to add extra power into the swing.

Third Attack Logax uses both daggers from their opposite ends respectively to swing them in the middle, crossing at the wrist at the end of the attack.

Fourth + Additional Attacks Logax violently swings both daggers from the center where they are crossed to opposite ends at the same time.

#Trivia

  • The metal blanks on Logax’s left shoulder are not decorations. He uses those when he and creates daggers for himself, or to sell through his blacksmithing ability.

  • In fact, Logax has never purchased any finished weapon or armor piece. He scavenges raw material wherever he can and creates all of his weapons, clothing, potions, and armor by hand.

  • W: Poisonous Tonic

Passive Logax’s auto attacks and abilities against poisoned enemy units and neutral monsters will deal and additional 2% / 3% / 4% / 5% / 6% of the target’s missing health in physical damage.

Logax throws a fragile vial of enchanted venom at a target location, traveling in a line. It shatters upon hitting the first enemy unit, dealing 60 / 85 / 110 / 140 / 190 (+65% AD) in physical damage. The vial then explodes, poising all enemy units in a small area dealing 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 in true damage to over 4.0 seconds and slowing them for 40% / 45% / 50% / 55% / 60% that rapidly decays over 2.0 seconds.

Logax coats both of his war daggers in the Enchanted Vial of Poison he has, applying this potent poison to the all enemy units damaged within the next 4.0 seconds on his next damaging auto attack or spell, dealing 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 in true damage to over 4.0 seconds.

Complete Rework of the ability, allowing for more use and player determined use of the passive against a small stock of the ability.

These strikes will proc the additional missing health damage from Poisonous Tonic if the enemy unit is poisoned.

Changed on kill enhancement to additional strike to aide with assassin role fulfillment. Updated cooldowns to feel less of a spamable of ability. Made it clear of its interaction with Poisonous Tonic.

If you dont mind ive decided to read trough all your works and comment :3 Very well done, like mentioned its similar to shaco but still cool and original. The only thing is the ultimate, while he is a assasin, its enough that you have 300-400AD and it will deal about 900-1000 AD. Now its not op, but that means if you get a enemy killed during this ultimate, its even more, so meaby tune down the ad ratio by abit, since all that high damage spells are single target but this is a AoE...except full AP chogath, you should never do it but if you get that 1000AP going he instantly kills everyone xD Otherwise great concept, love it c:

Big Shout outs to BowieTheNifty and Bravocado (sorry, no link at the moment) for their review of Logax in their Podcast - Nifty Bravo Podcast (NBP).

Review of Logax

Its a slightly critical yet relaxed review of a few champion concepts on the boards. Check it out when you get the chance.

Again, thanks again to ScooterBisket for the original find.

So... The CCOS is over and I saw that you won. I read through your entire thing and I was like. "DAYUM... this is good." Then I saw the part where you mentioned Moon, The Den Mother And I almost burst into tears. Thanks for the shout out.

Also, I have made my idea for the November CCOS. I tried to make him have more synergy with moves but I want to know your opinion. Well that is all for me, in the mean time her is the one the only, Nobhdy, The Unknown Warrior

##Patch Notes ##Version 2.2 - 05/19/2018

Abilities

  • Passive Swiftness of Survival

Self Targeted Buff Radius: 350 500

Logax gains 10% / 12.5% / 15% bonus movement speed per visible enemy champion who are slowed poisoned and near him (at levels 1 / 6 / 11). This effect stacks up to a maximum of 3 times.

Gives great synergy with rest of kit, and escape potential, but even greater chase potential to fulfill his general play style.

  • W: Poisonous Tonic

Passive Logax’s auto attacks and abilities against poisoned enemy units and neutral monsters will deal and additional 2% / 3% / 4% / 5% / 6% of the target’s missing health in physical damage.

Cleared up wording in the description, and now the effect to damaging spells.

Active Ground Targeted Linear Collision Skill Shot | Area of Effect Debuff Stocked | Auto Attack Modifier | Spell Modifier | Poison Stock Amount: 4 Stock Recharge Rate: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 seconds Range: 800 Projectile Width: 60 Radius: 400 / 100 Projectile Speed: 1700 Interrupts Movement: Yes No

If no enemy unit is struck by the vial, it will shatter on the ground at its maximum distance, dealing only the poison damage and slowing all enemy units in the area of a reduced radius (of 100 units).

  • R: Misery Procession

    Channeled Cursor Guided Conic Area of Effect | On Takedown Spell Damage Modifier | Applies on Hit Effects Cooldown: 25 / 20 / 15 30 / 25 / 20

Killing an enemy champion increases the base damage of the following strikes by 10% / 12.5% / 15%, stacking additively up to a maximum of 3 times. grants an additional strike after the last strike, dealing the same damage in the same conic area. These can repeat indefinitely.

These strikes will proc the additional missing health damage from Poisonous Tonic if the enemy unit is poisoned.

Changed on kill enhancement to additional strike to aide with assassin role fulfillment. Updated cooldowns to feel less of a spamable of ability. Made it clear of its interaction with Poisonous Tonic.
