freaky jungler concept [oroboro: sentinel of the dark city]

oroboro is the sole inhabitant of an underground city that exists 2 miles beneath the city of pitover. the city is only accessible via a stairwell in an abandoned building that many believe to be haunted. no one knows why the city exists or why oroboro guards it.

appearance: oroboro appears to be a static humanoid figure wrapped in bandages made of plaster and pierced by multiple steel bars.

abilities:

passive - abject horror oroboro can only be seen by enemy champions who are facing him. (is completely undetectable to wards and towers). oroboro cannot move or auto attack while being observed. when enemies first observe him they hear a terrifying screech. all enemies observing him deal 20% less damage and take a large amount of physical damage every second. the damage from this effect increases the longer they continue to observe him. the damage over time is also increased by attack speed, attack damage, and critical strike chance from items. it also applies lifesteal. oroboro has melee auto attacks.

note* oroboro would have the highest base movement speed so far in the game, so even though he can't move while being observed he would be able to run really fast if enemies take their eyes off him even for a second.

Q - premonition

oroboro instantly debuffs enemies in a pentagon shaped area. enemies hit by the debuff are slowed, revealed, and have their vision radius reduced by half for 5 seconds. this skill has a very long cast range, a relatively short cooldown, and deals no damage.

W - dark curtain oroboro places a wall on the ground that completely blocks enemy vision of what's behind it. this wall has an unlimited duration and lasts until an enemy walks through it.

E - dark hand oroboro casts this ability on terrain or dark curtains. when cast, a gigantic dark arm will appear from the other side of the terrain and grab the first target it hits, pulling the target through the terrain. oroboro can't cast this ability while being observed.

R - shadow realm oroboro creates a large circular wall around himself in which allies and enemies cannot see into or out of. allies and enemies can enter it, but they cannot escape. allies inside the realm gain lifesteal and take less damage. oroboro can use his dark hand on the boundary of this skill in order to pull enemies into it.

note* oroboro is not meant to be a duelist assassin. i'm intentionally trying to make him a HORRIBLE duelist. oroboro is meant to be a team oriented anti map awareness support assassin. that's his niche and it's what's supposed to distinguish him from other assassin junglers.

So, pretty much bizare version of Evelynn. If enemy high burst spots you, you are pretty much dead. Only melee champions are screw by this, all range enemies will devastate this champion. Also, how about wards? Will they work on him? Will they immobilize him/her forever? Why are you not allowing him to use abilities while he is seen? Once he got seen, he is pretty much useless and dead. Even minions would be more useful.

Q - premonition oroboro fires a very long range skill shot in a direction. enemies hit by this skillshot are slowed, revealed and have reduced armor for 5 seconds. the skill itself doesn't deal any damage.

Pretty average ability. Other champions have targeted slows, this one have skill shot slow. Pretty much meh, unless you make it work with your other abilities. My suggestion would be: instead of revealing enemy, cause his vision range to be greatly reducing, enabling to better use of your passive.

W - dark curtain oroboro places a wall on the ground that completely blocks enemy vision of what's behind it. this wall lasts until an enemy walks through it.

It might be a good ability, if you would remove wall destruction. If you get caught and being bursted, you only chance to escape is this ability, but enemies can cancel it easily by just walking and you can't cast anything while being observed.

E - dark hand oroboro casts this ability on terrain or dark curtains. when cast, a gigantic dark arm will appear from the other side of the terrain and grab the first target it hits, pulling the target through the terrain.

Good. Sounds unique, fun and useful, but only when jungling. The big problem is that this ability will cancel your W. While you can combo W+E, you will become exposed after you use it, allowing enemies to burst you down relentlessly.

Overall this is a clearly unique idea, just not a good one. Passive is pretty much dead sentence to this champion as no sane person would play this champion. Q could be good, if it would reduce vision range and you would be allowed to use abilities while enemies see you. W also could be a good ability, with some changes. R is pretty decent and could work. I suggest completely changing passive and update other abilities, too.

It's definently a weird but extremely unique set of abilities but in my personal opinion, the passive seems a bit strong but I can see where u balance it out by not using other abilities. Just weird to think about how you fight him lol.

If you have time you should check out my champion design http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/yujHiBEr-champ-concept-kassadins-daughter-concept-valari-the-portal-weaver-wip

Some of this seems like it should go towards a Fiddlestick rework.

This guy seems to have very little damage, other than getting people to look at him. Am I right in saying that he would do well in Support? becasue, literally, he could just stand in the middle of the lane, and the other team couldn't look at him. that means they couldn't farm, they couldn't fight, they couldn't push, without taking damage. I really like the idea, but he seems like his playstyle would be that of a turret: just kind of sitting there and waiting for them to look at you.

Maybe, you make abject horror one of his moves (maybe switch it with his q, make his passive that all enemies have reduced vision around him): when people look at him, he can't move, but he gains access to this move, which grants him a skillshot on a really short cooldown/low mana cost that he can just spam all day. Then, at least the other team can farm/push/poke.

I like the ult, though. that is a cool ult. I assume that if your guy dies, the ult fades?
