New Sheen Sustain Item Concept
I would like to see an item build from sheen that retains the spellblade effect, however, instead of bonus damage, it heals the wielder on hit.
There could be several ways to accomplish this. I'm thinking this may be good to model similar to Iceborn Gauntlets in the sense that it deals bonus damage based on 100% of your base AD, then has an additional effect that scales on some other stat, such as armor in the case of Iceborn Gauntlets. Since we currently have only one Sheen item that deals magic damage, this could potentially be applied as magic damage as well.
I would look for this item to aim for granting health on hit about 25-75 health per charge. This could simply be accomplished as a flat ratio, but I do really like the idea of having it scale with a stat.
As for what it scales on, I would personally want to see this be more of a sustain item for skirmishers. More specifically, I think it would be better for skirmishers who don't scale on AD as well since they already have lifesteal options. I do worry that making it scale on AP would make this item too much like Lich Bane. I was thinking about trying to have it scale on maximum or bonus health, but I definitely see that being a buff to the headache of tank skirmishers, and I want to avoid that.
I did have the idea of having it be something like what I mentioned before where it grants flat health based on level, then grants a small additional amount of health based on how much AP the champion has. So for example 25-75 (by level) (+1 per 25 AP) health on hit. I don't expect those to be the exact numbers.
So I'm looking for some ideas from you guys. I'd prefer to skip the "this is a terrible idea" comments. If you see a problem with it, please tell me what the problem is and try and help think of a way to fix it. I think this is something that could work in one way or another, even if it is accomplished in a different way or with a lower scale.
