ARAM slight redesign.
Excuse the rough sketch of the idea, but I wanted some visualization. Currently, the issue with ARAM is that there's no reason to actually fight people. There's no objectives outside of towers/inhib/nexus. I thought it'd be a good idea to change that. So, here's my proposition.
Cut out the towers by the middle two bushes, and have the bushes lead into (via a path of ice) an arena. The arena is special platform of pure ice to keep up with the aesthetic. Inside that Arena is the Poro King (something Riot doesn't have to design special at all). You fight the Poro King, which spawns every 5 minutes, and he gets summoned into the lane to push. This gives people something to teamfight over, and dissuades you from sitting under tower until someone messes up. The Poro King fight can have him eat a random snack every 5 seconds, gaining one of the Poro Snax attacks (in a lessened form) randomly. Both teams have a way in closer to them, bushes make taking cover and flashing to steal something worth doing, and there's no smite so it's unlikely to just be soloed most of the time.
I personally think it'd be much easier making ARAM a more dynamic game mode, since it's the only real alternative we have left. It'd require only really designing the arena for the Poro King, and reusing the assets from the RGM. It wouldn't be as busted as the RGM Poro King because the summoners around him would be gone, and the on demand snax would be gone. He would just push down the lane, do some tower damage, and heal those near him. It offers enough to make people fight over it, but not so much that losing one or two would lose you the game.
I hope someone from Riot sees this. Since you took out Nexus Blitz, took away weekly RGM, took away Dominion, and took away Twisted Treeline, at least make ARAM more exciting to play.
