[DISCUSSION] How would you try developing a Main Battle Tank as a Champion?
To be specific, I am not talking a gameplay tank like Alistar, Rammus, etc. I am referring to something like this: the M1A1 Abrams. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b9/Abrams-transparent.png/1280px-Abrams-transparent.png
#"How would a tank like that fit into LoL's universe?"
Good question, but I have an answer: Have it be something made by Yordles. We already have Corki's ROFL-Copter and Rumble's mech, so how hard would it be to envision a tank the size of, say, a small car?
#"What would this tank bring in gameplay?"
Again, good question, and really the point of this topic. I have a few ideas on what gameplay this tank could bring out, but I don't know which would be the most appropriate. It could be a tough marksman with low mobility, or maybe a ranged fighter somewhat like Urgot. Or it could fill in some other really strange niche. There's definitely room for debate on that.
#"Riot never listens to these anyways!"
Wrong. Braum definitely had some inspiration from "Angus, the Puncher" IIRC, and while Riot might deny it, I'm sure they based Yorick off "Alice, the Doll Master". They might not copy-pasta everything about a Champion Concept, but you can't say they completely ignore concepts, even if they say "We legally cannot use your concepts" (which I find is a bullcrap policy).
In any case, Riot's presence is not essential to this discussion. This is to discuss the idea of adding in a Yordle Main Battle Tank into the game as a Champion design, as Champion Conceptors.
So if you've got anything to chime in with, feel free to post (as long as it's civil).
Caitlyn's.
's glorious evolution the tank char could be like a artillery styled mage great for sieging possibly that or make him like a yordle like
