I just started playing Twisted Fate recently and I am outraged about his W.

"Pick a Card"? Really? Could you guys not think of an actually spell name so had the following conversation?: "What should we call this spell where he picks a card?" "Ummm" "Oh for fuck's sake it's 6:00PM just write "pick a card" "k, done. Can I get a ride home?" "sure"

Two points:

  1. It's in the freakin card description! "Shuffle". Would make a much better name for ability, also, goes well with TF's western dancing theme (Tango TF, his Gangham Style dance, etc).
  2. If you insist on this dumb name at least get your grammar right: "**CHOOSE ** a card" not "**PICK **a card". Jesus.

tldr; fix it.

It is a reference to the iconic magician phrase "Pick a card, any card." They then locate the card you picked after placing it back into the deck. It's a good choice of ability name given TF's theme.

Shuffle makes more sense, and his dance should be the shuffle too lol.

Meh; I always considered it as being related to his conman/magician theme, the whole 'Pick a card, any card' trick.

But Shuffle could be a good name for it too.
