passive: Yeti/Rider

The summoner can switch ability sets using R similar to jayce.

Yeti: Nunu holds on for dear life as Willump takes to the rift to kill their enemies. Attack range changed to 150. Willump gains 20% of total AP as AD. While not moving, Willump's attack speed is increased by 50% (Nunu only needs one hand to hold on).

Rider: Willump holds on to Nunu allowing him to aid their allies. Nunu has an attack range of 450. Nunu gains 20% of total AD as AP. Autoattacking and casting abilities does not interrupt nunu's pathing unless the target is out of range.

Skills are as follows:

Willump: Q: Consume: same as before but now scales with AD instead of AP and does 25% physical damage when used on champions. W: Blood boil: self buff same as before, range 1050, can be cast on ally, enemy, or self. To target: reduces effects of slows on target by 50% for 2 seconds (enemy) or for duration of buff (ally). If cast on enemy, increase physical damage to target by 20%. When self casted will attempt to cast on nearest allied champion, if no allied champions are within range will then attempt to cast on nearest enemy prioritizing enemy champions. E: Yeti leap: Willump leaps to target location within a range of 550 units reducing the ms of enemies hit by 30/35/40% decaying over 2 seconds and dealing physical damage equal to 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 50% AD)

Nunu: Q: frost: root target enemy champion for 1/1.5/2 seconds the root is fragile and can be broken by using a movement ability (dash/blink/jump/tp). If frost is used on a champion effected by a slow, frost's duration is increased by .5 seconds and also applies grounded to the target. W: ice troll: range 550, nunu creates a targetable miniature frost troll out of ice at the target location with 3 hp that can provide vision in the area. Allies that walk over the troll are granted a frost shield that absorbs 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 40% AP) damage for 4 seconds. After 1 second, enemies that walk over the troll cause it to explode in a small radius and are slowed by 40% for 2/3/4 seconds. Nunu can have 3 trolls deployed at once but only one may be in brush at a time. e: snowball: same damage as current e but range is now 1050 and it is now a skillshot that passes over minions and has a slightly faster missile speed. Additionally the ball leaves snow in its wake that lasts for 3 seconds and slows enemy movement speed by 20% decaying over 2 seconds

R: Absolute Zero: Unlocks at normal ult levels, Nunu/Willump must alt+R to begin channeling Willump protects Nunu from cc while Nunu channels a high damage spell (same damage and duration as current R). Range: 575 (unchanged). Enemies within range of the channel will be slowed by 60/70/80% after 1 second while in the area and for two seconds after leaving the area. Enemies that are slowed cannot best Willump's defense and are unable to interrupt the channel except by killing Willump and Nunu.

Takeaways:

  1. Both the jungle and support playstyles are preserved.
  2. Nunu&Willump now has a mobility skill as well as hard cc (which i believe is not op considering the need to slow before using frost to prevent breaking the root).
  3. His ult isnt so easy to break but it is also not impossible and will give him the opportunity for it to be more useful than it currently is while still allowing for it to be played against.
  4. It adds a new level of depth to Nunu/Willump. All abilities have been updated to fit better in the current game, he no longer has a point and click e or a q that's not very useful outside of jungle.

Let me know what you guys think :)

Re-designing Nunu and Willump as a form-changing champion is an interesting idea with potential, but it goes directly against existing champion and input design to have a form changing champion with a true ultimate ability, and do have such an odd casting paradigm. If you want to continue with that idea, I would move it into one of two ways: First, Jayce's "Ultimate" is a small bonus when he changes formes. Alternatively, the mechanics of Le Blanc's ultimate might prove useful inspiration.

First, the passives. You have three true passives: The AP/AD conversions, and Willump gaining attack speed when not moving. Firstly, having different passives for form-changing champions is unusual. What would be better is something which both forms interact with. Look at Elise and Gnar for good examples. Further, the direct stat transfer just tends to force people into specifc build paths, often sub-optimal. Riot has deliberately removed all but one of these stat-conversion passives, and for good reason. However, your "Gain X when standing still" has potential. Instead of your three passives, try this: "When standing still for X seconds Nunu gains X% increased damage on his next ability/ Willump gains X% increased range on his next ability." That would synergize with their respective styles a little more. As part of that, make Willump scale with AP again, or add tank scalings instead.

Your changes to Willump are incredibly strong, and entirely unnecessary. Consume is a perfectly function ability as is, providing sustain and tankiness. Dealing that damage to Champions is incredibly strong (245 flat damage at rank 5 is high for an ability). The idea of casting Blood Boil on an enemy for a different effect has potential, but I think that your choice of debuffs is suspect. First of all, you help them by giving slow resistance. Second, the damage amp is very powerful, hard to notice, and not thematic. Consider other debuffs which interact with his slows. Your Yeti Jump is would be an interesting addition to a transform character. Maybe could use some tuning, but the core is there.

For Nunu, the Q is decent. I like the idea of interacting with existing slows; it really allows him a lot of ability to mesh with himself and with others. The E changes are pretty standard for a conversion from a targetted ability to a skillshot. However, the W does not really make any sense. Nunu has never been a cold wizard, just some kid with a yeti and access to snow. What you could do instead is put a weaker version of Absolute Zero there.

For the ult, there is not much to say that I have not already. Keeping an entire Ultimate ability there is far too strong for a transform champion. Try putting some sort of passive or innate interaction there. For instance, "Upon cast, instantly gain a stack of your passive." The trick is to make some reason to put points into the ability, even though you get it at rank one as a transform champion. Consider re-working the existing Visionary ability.
