This is amazing! We need people to up vote this so it grabs RIOTs attention. Honestly, what were they thinking? Putting orange and green? With red? Makes no sense that way. Makes a lot more sense making Lucian one color, and preferably green, or maybe neon blue, or neon purple. But yeah the original skin isn't worth buying for 1350. Nor for the price reduction on the first week of sale. Nice work man, upvoted :)....I made a little adjustment to the color of the cape. I think if riot doesnt want to change the color of the accents then they should at least change the cape color to match the orange.
The Green lights on the guns look nice.
Yi should also be a different colour.... Yasuo is orange already? Why have repeating colours when you have unlimited options.
That would destroy the theme of the PROJECT line which appears to be all on the warm end of the colour spectrum. From what you've laid out here, they're orange, red, pink and yellow. Green would be hard to see against the grass of the rift and would split up the colour theme of the PROJECT line up. While it would match his outfit better, it also seems like it just wouldn't stand out as well either. It just kind of blends together and overall...Lucian just doesn't stand out at all in a green theme.

Its not about the colours, Yasuo is orange too that means they should change Master Yi aswell
You are missing the point of the skin line. Their particles are all in the warm color spectrum. Changing Lucian to green would break that rule and not make any sense. My guess is they might be planning on making another skin line based on cool color spectrum blue/green/purple to act as counterpart to project skins. Also from aesthetic point of view the orange/teal contrast on Lucian is visually superior and easier on the eyes than just plain green.

So idk if anyone here has been to art class but there's a really good reason for Lucian to be orange if you notice the whole cyber skin theme has been warm colors and have red or a variant of the color red in them making 1 skin a completely different Color from the theme is like making pop star ahri a part of the Pentakill band
I also find Lucian's leather glove a bit dull, and it is too close to his skin tone in colour, making it hard to distinguish. My suggestion is therefore adding metal plates to the glove, along with some more LEDs on the rest of his armour to make the model more interesting. I have posted my suggestions <HERE> if you want to have a look :)

I will just post all my Project Lucian suggestions here, as people have down-voted my discussion for some reason (my guess is that they believe this thread was first, which is was not). I want to focus on some aspects that have not been addressed by the OP here :)
I made an edited version of Project Lucian with new colours and added detail:
- New NEON colours! Green or blue? Either look better than orange to me :)
- New LEDs on his boots and on the spine of the armour.
- Metal plates on his glove (distinguishing it from his skin)
- Brighter green colour for his armour
- A circuit tattoo on his arm, distinguishing it from his glove (optional detail)
- A power core in his chest (optional detail)
Why go away from orange?
- There are already two other champions with this colour in the Project skin series: Yasuo and Yi.
- Hired Gun Lucian already has weapons with orange glow and orange ability effects.
What are your hopes for Project Lucian? My biggest hope is that Riot alters his effect colours (I am rooting for NEON GREEN :) ), as he already shares orange with two other Project champions, and Lucian already has a skin with orange effects and orange-glowing guns: Hired Gun Lucian. If Riot does not want to alter his colours, I would at least hope that they add the metal plates to his glove. It is hard to distinguish the glove from his skin and it also lacks contrasts when considered by itself. Fixing the dull green to a brighter colour, like I did, is a solid third place of importance to me.

The Leona skin is also a little plain, its too much of a lemon yellow. It should be golden yellow like her armor on default Leona. She looks like a toy with this yellow. I gotta say, for the amount of hype the project theme had, these skins are bland. Except yi. I'll make an acception for yi

Yeaaaah as a Lucian main I was very disappointed with the skin and will not be buying. I already have Hired Gun which has plenty of orange colors, and changed his projectile to a small orange bullet. Or if I want a bright/white color scheme I can just use his base. Blue or green would've been really nice and I would have bought that in a heart beat. Compared to all the other Project skins being released I feel as though Lucian's lacks the most luster in terms of colors, and the cool Project particles everyone else has ON their weapon. Oh, and he looks like a chick. Master yisus is already orange too!

I think it's already the best of the new project skin as is.
I think a blue would be better but it shouldn't be orange with 2 other orange champs already in the series
