Hey everyone!

As you might have seen, Riot is hosting an Artistic Contest for those who want to express a champion's emotion in drawn form! While the link above is for the nitty gritty details, this thread in general is for you guys to discuss your art, share what you're working or maybe get an idea or two if you're up to enter but have no real idea on what champion to work on!

#Remember that the deadline for this contest is July 23rd (7/23) at 2:00 PM PDT so plan accordingly and don't wait til the last minute!

If you have any questions, feel free to shoot questions and we can try to help the best we can! Other than that, good luck and have fun drawing to your hearts content! (As well as discussing with other artists!)

So voting is up now... I'd like to share some feedback to the contest so far, because there are some things worth mentioning.

  1. The goal of the contest was somewhat unclear I think. "Memotions" = Memes + Emotions ? Depending on how you interpreted it it's about emotions, memes or ingame emotes. They are similar, but different. This washyness makes judging difficult later.

  2. Why public voting first ? This is really debateable but I am not a fan of mass entry voting. First it's random what you see and unless you browse through everything, the ones who are lucky enough to get views will be the ones to get votes. You can't vote for what you dont see, right ? If someone has social media followers, those would vote for his/her entry when linked to vote on via social media. Again, not great.

  3. The Woobox preview you got after uploading was cropped, so maybe your name got cut off. You couldnt get a fullscreen view to check if it's just a preview or not though. Riot support advised to reupload corrected versions and so I did. Now I see that the older version are still in the contest, which brings up more problems...Dont people with duplicate entries have a higher chance of getting seen ? And do the votes get counted together or only one of the two ? If it's counted together in's kinda unfair because of the hiogher view chance, if it's only one you might have poeple that dont bother voting vor both or dont see both which splits the votes you would have gotten...

  4. I think it would benefit everyone if Riot let a few of their people make a pre-election first. Remove duplicates, entries that dont match the criteria etc. After that you can let the public vote on a more manageable pool of entries. What is more efficient ? Let a few people browse through hundreds of entries or let all voters browse through hundreds of entries ?

I already posted some pieces but I am still unsure if this is meant for emotes like the ingame or forum emotes or just about a champions facial expressions?

Hey can someone do a graphic where the champion applauds like there saying well played of something I think it's needed in the list of mememojis the best there is ;[slayer-pantheon-thumbs] this is the closest thing

I may be asking something obvious, but it says that we can vote for arts in the first phase. Exactly when or where can we vote or see the current submitted artworks? Or its only after the deadline?

i feel so scared to make anything, i have so many ideas for all champions but i dont my art to be insulted. i dont know what to do...

I submitted my art but the preview I got afterwards was cropped in a way that it removed my summoner name. Is that just an unfortunate preview (why does it even get cropped ?) or is the image actually getting cut ? If it actually gets cut, I'd have to resubmit my entry so my summoner name is on it.

I need this answered as soon as possible by a riot employee, What if you have a name with special characters that WERE allowed by the game?(Like my name for example) Would I still be able to receive the reward or do I get nulled for trying to be a special snowflake? [sg-lulu]

I have the submission all ready to enter its just this that's got me worried.

Hello I made a submission and was wondering if it went through okay because when I followed the link I was given afterwards, it brings me to submission page again, is it supposed to do that or did something bug out?. Also it seems the preview got cut off few times so I resubmitted so entire picture is visible, hope it's okay.

I had trouble at uploadding send a ticket to support but they cant help i sumbmitted in TICKET #35850603, woobox freeze when i was uploading and take long befor the deadline and deny the entry what can i do?-
