Introduction

Hello everyone. This is Ragnola. I want to introduce a champion that I have been crafting since even before League of Legends came out haha. Anyway, it was inspired by my shadow priest I played in WoW whom I named Souleater (this was before the anime). His largest theme will be that of shadow and he will be a burst/utility mage. You will see how that works as you read further on. I'm also currently working on fictional writing as a hobby and this champion will probably be a character in my story so please help me critique him as well. Thank you for your time!

Name: Malumbras Title: Priest of Shadow Current Occupation: Soul Harvester (basically devouring any unwary souls) Previous Occupation: Priest (Worshipper of the Shadow Fiend that lives in the Abyss known as Unkeratul) Origins: Demacia Age: Unknown (Immortal) Allies: None Arch Enemy: Lux

Lore

Malumbras was of common birth. Though he possessed powers over the light similar to Lux, he could not possibly hope to achieve her fame and power. Not with his lack of resources anyway.

Being of common birth, Malumbras did not have very many opportunities available to him unlike Lux. Still, he strived to be better than her. Stronger. Yet he just kept falling short because no one will notice him. No one will listen to him. No one except him. or it?

Something from the shadows was whispering to him. It told him how he could gain more power. He must take the souls of others and offer it up to a place known as "The Abyss". He'd heard of the void, but the Abyss? Still, even though he was skeptical, Malumbras did exactly as he was asked. The moment the hapless soul was offered, he could feel power surge into him. It was intoxicating. Nearly impossible to resist and it made him crave more.

More souls. He needs more souls so that he can catch up to Lux and eventually show her and everyone else that he is superior. As he offered up more hapless souls, he noticed his powers were changing. He no longer possessed control over the light, but that was irrelevant now as he now possessed power over the shadow. Power was all he needed.

There was... one problem though. The hapless souls he offered up were drawing attention. If he continues, he will soon be discovered by his pursuers. He already knew the solution to his problem though. He had to join the League. It was there that he would find more souls to offer up... ...or devour for his own gain.

Stats

Health: 465 Mana: 325 Mana Regen: 7 Health Regen: 6

Attack Damage: 50 Attack Speed: 0.625 Attack Range: 525 Armor: 17 Magic Resist: 30 Movement: 335

Abilities

Passive: Shadowy Permanence

Malumbras transforms himself completely into shadows when he is at 40% HP granting him complete immunity to CC effects for 1 second and reducing the effects of CC effects after that by 60% for as long as he remains at 40% HP or lower.

In addition, he gains 10% movement speed for as long as he remains at 40% HP or lower.

Malumbras is very one minded. If he has too much AD, he will slack off on his shadow studies and lose ability damage. Building more than 100 AD on Malumbras will reduce the damage he deals with his abilities by 25%.

Q: Shadow Tether/Soul Suction (CD: 10/9/8/7/6) (Cost: 85) (Range: 700) (Tether Range before breaking: 750)

A shadow chain shoots out in the target direction attaching itself to the first enemy hit dealing 80/120/160/200/240 + (40% AP) in magic damage over 2 seconds + (0.5 second for every 50 Total AD) if the tether remains attached. While the tether is attached, Malumbras steals 10% + (0.5% for every 10 bonus AD) of the target's movement speed. The tether remains behind for another 1 second to give him a chance to reactivate it but it does not deal damage or have any additional effects during this time.

In addition, he can choose to reactivate the ability(Soul Suction) to deal 80/120/160/200/240 + (60% AP) in magic damage immediately however he is slowed by 10% for 2 seconds afterwards. For each second that Malumbras waits to reactivate, it will deal 25% less damage upon reactivation. (Minimum 50% less damage).

Malumbras is free to cast other spells/attack/move while Shadow Tether is active.

W: Shadow Blend (CD: 25/23/21/19/17) (Cost: Initial 25)

After 1.5 seconds, Malumbras blends into the shadows making himself invisible as long as he stays 400 units radius away from enemies. While this is active, he loses 5/4/3/2/1% maximum mana per second. While in this form, his other abilities will gain special effects.

Shadow Tether will deal an extra 5/10/15/20/25% damage to enemy champions however his slow debuff is increased to 15/20/25/30/35% for 2 seconds after reactivation.

Shadow Implosion will also pull in the affected targets into the center of the area of effect. In addition it will also activate sooner by 0.10 seconds for every point in Shadow Blend.

In addition, being revealed does not break Shadow Blend. Only manually deactivating the skill will deactivate Shadow Blend.

E: Shadow Implosion (CD: 16/14/12/10/8) (Cost: 90/85/80/75/70) (Range: 750) (Area of Effect: 175 unit radius or roughly the same as Swain's W)

Malumbras channels the shadow in the target area causing it to implode after 1 second stunning all enemy units for 0.5 seconds + (0.5 second for every 50 total AD) dealing 60/100/140/180/220 + (60% AP) as magic damage.

R: Shadow Transcendence (CD: 120/100/80) (Cost: 100)

Malumbras transform into the ultimate shadow form leaving behind his physical form.

Passive: His original passive activates at 45/50/55% HP.

Active: He throws off all physical shackles and gains his original passive effect of complete immunity of CC effects for the duration of 3/4/5 seconds. He also gains these additional effects: Shadow Tether can now be cast again if he manages to land the first one. Shadow Implosion now activates immediately. Shadow Blend's bonus effects are doubled (yes this does include the slow debuff bonus as well).

Author's Notes As you can see, he can scale with AD if he wants to be utility based, but if he wants to be burst, he will have to go AP. He could go AD too for some sustained damage but it really won't be effective given his low base attack speed and his passive. I hope you've enjoyed this concept and as always your votes(whether down or up), and feedback are always welcome.
