Kayn Passive Suggestion

Kayn's concept is a duality and struggle between himself and the influence of the weapon, and the completion of the "quest" showcases this with a visual over the portrait before he transforms. But until this happens a little tiny dot with a weak grey circle growing around it is the only indication of the struggle we get to see while it's happening.

My suggestion is that the yin yang feature that displays for the passive once you complete the quest be always active from the game start, only it's empty with a light shade of color for each side. As you collect orbs from fights the visual begins to "fill up" like sand in a glass until one side fills up completely and locks in a darker color, representing that side is currently the winning side and will be the dominant side at the end of the quest.

It would also be nice to have a hover over tooltip showing the current percentage of completion so that you know how hard you need to go for the transformation, because right now the clarity on that is lacking.

True. The clarity is lacking and u can't even ping with ALT how much u need for transformation

Not letting you know which side is winning is the struggle. you may think you are ganking the adc, and ranged mid laner alot, but in the end you had to help keep the enemy Yorick back so you get rhasst. if they where to tell you which side was winning it would force yo to camp specific champions in order to get a specific form first.

Additionally I have now learned something that is horribly frustrating and not explained well in the original wording of the ability. Kayn collects orbs from damaging champions, but only ONE color matters for his passive. Initially the passive sounds as if it collects all orbs, and once a certain amount is reached in total he gains his passive based on his collection.

Unfortunately this is NOT how it works at all. Kayn collects orbs and the ability tracks each of the two colors SEPARATELY. Meaning that if you deal damage to the melee top laner and gain a bit of passive on the scale for that, and then you deal less damage to the ranged bot laner in another fight later, the passive WILL NOT FILL. Because you have to completely fill that passive gauge from only a SINGLE color of orbs making it even LESS likely you will ever not camp a specific lane and making it ever more important to have a better visual representation for the passive and the clarity.
