CONCEPT FOR NEW CHAMPION
Chlora Nature's Herald
LORE
The Eldest Tree is perhaps the most powerful source of magic in Runeterra- or so it was said. The Eldest Tree had never been seen by modern citizens, and only few have heard stories of it. But the innovation of men is nature's burden, and The Eldest Tree wouldn't remain hidden for long. Through decades of arduous, and sometimes misleading research, one particular Yordle scholar obsessed with the Eldest Tree. The Eldest Tree riddled its way into Yordle folktale more than anything; and as a young Yordle, he convinced himself these stories were true- at least in some way. There had to be an Eldest Tree.
When the Yordle made a break-through in his research, he immediately began looking for a crew to aid him on his quest. But he found no help from his Yordle companions, whom were more concerned with techmaturgy, so he turned to the humans. It didn't take him long to summon up a few well-built people, and he left to the forests near Bandle City.
Weeks had passed, and many were losing heart- but the Yordle remained optimistic. Then one day, years of research and ridicule had finally paid off. One of the crew had mentioned a strange feeling of walking in circles, despite keeping a straight path. The Yordle chanted a silly rhyme from one of his stories, and they found themselves in a grove. The grove was dwarfed by the massive, and glorious tree that stood in its center. The Yordle began to tear with happiness, before a knife in the back ended his life. The men began chopping at the tree vigorously, seeking the magical source of the tree. Their axes chimed against the bark. But the tree couldn't withstand the blows forever, and the bark cracked with a scream.
The Eldest Tree shone bright, screaming. Slowly, the tree crumbled and crawled into the ground. When the screaming stopped, and the light faded, a green spirit remained. The cove began to collapse, and the grass and leaves flowed to the spirit, attaching to it. The spirit had tken shape. The men rushed to attack her, but once they ran in the ground beneath them began to lift. The men stumbled back from the ground, but it was no longer the ground- it too had taken shape and began attacking the men. The men turned to escape, but grass began growing like snakes around them and slowed them down. Flowers began to sprout around their ankles, and small vines began whipping them. The men tried to scream for help, but couldn't find their voices. Suddenly, it was over. The spirit was gone, and the men laid whimpering in the shadows of the forest.

Allies in AOE are granted a bonus 5% Health Regeneration, and Chlora gains the Health Regen from her passive +(2/4/6/8/10)%. Enemies in AOE have their Movement Speed reduced by 20%.
E: Nature's Gift COST: 100 Mana RANGE: 1000 COOLDOWN: 25 seconds
- (active): Chlora imbues target area with nature, and summons a beautiful tree. The tree obstructs movement for its duration. Effectively, the tree has TWO "durability bars"- and each bar has THREE "segments" (like a ward).
- (Ally Team Color): Allies may activate the tree to restore (50/75/100/125/150) Health, and remove a segment from the "Ally Team Color Bar".
- (Enemy Team Color): Enemies may attack the tree to remove a segment from the "Enemy Team Color Bar". Attacking the tree causes a swarm of bees to attack, causing fear for (1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0/2.25) seconds.
Ultimate: Mother Nature COST: 125/175/225 Mana RANGE: 800/850/900 Radius, Centers around Chlora COOLDOWN: 60 seconds
- (passive): Shambler is granted a (5/10/15)% bonus to its maximum Health.
- (active): Chlora enhances her connection to nature, causing nearby plants to thrive. Chlora's active abilities caught in the AOE are given bonus/alternative effects. Blossom- Enemies in AOE of Blossom are silenced, and take DOT. The re-activation of this ability causes enemies to become blinded for 2 seconds, instead of becoming Pollenated. Pollenated- Pollenated enemies in AOE of Mother Nature sprout their sapling into a large flower, which lasts for 10 seconds. "Flowered" enemies have their damage dealt reduced by 20%. Growth- Summoned brush in AOE of Mother Nature has its duration increased 30 seconds. Nature's Gift- Tree effected by Mother Nature becomes invulnerable for (5/7.5/10) seconds. While the tree is invulnerable it emits a magical force in a 300 unit radius. Enemies in AOE take magical DOT, while allies in AOE have 5% of their maximum Health restored each second.
UTILITY
- Chlora is best suited as a Support. She lacks the damage output to be a strong solo-laner, but might be able to hold a lane long enough for a strong lane-phase.
- Chlora is designed to be an "escort" for squishy champs that wish to wander. ADC and Mid champions will be reinforced to stay close to Chlora while navigating enemy jungles. Her passive, her brush, and her tree make jungles a safer place to travel.
