Theory on the Lore Retcon

A lot of people are mad about the fact that Riot is nixing the old lore. While I agree that the old lore is awesome and I'm going to miss it, there's a very important reason to start over: it makes no sense. Let's go A-Z, first reminding ourselves that the League exists to allow champions to fight for power for whichever faction they stand for as a replacement for war.

Only there to spur on the fighting. Only there to steal champion's souls. Only there for friends. Who knows? Wants to engulf the world in flames... and confines himself to Summoner's Rift... All there to sow chaos and destruction. Neither the Void nor the Shadow Isles needs representation. We know why he's there, but it isn't productive towards the League's purpose. Only there to troll. Trying to get crunk. Trying to kill one of the champions. Just wants to fight. Just wants to destroy. Wants to fight/kill another champion. Wants to kill other champions. Looking for disciples of Wuju. Wants power and to kill another champion. Wants to fight for the Leauge... which isn't a faction... Wants to take revenge on somebody. There as punishment on behalf of the League... which still isn't a faction... There because she wants to be. Trying to dismantle the League so that true war may resume. There to find other weird creatures to call friends (and didn't even befriend Amumu :[ ) There to kill another champion. There to kill champions. There to study the magic in League. They didn't even bother to ask why, just let him do as he pleases. Chasing a paycheck. Protecting... something... There to heal all the champions... what...? There for power. There to eat the champs. There to protect the champs. He's just there. If he's trying to rob someone, he's got his work cut out for him. Revenge. Killing champions. Gaining power. Proving robots rock. Killing a champion. Showing off his Wuju style. Trying to steal power from the League. Trying to find someone and probably kill them. Trying to fight evil in the League. Finding more shadows to embrace? Trying to cure his disease. Idk, maybe she was originally from the Rift?

Half the champions in the League of Legends aren't there to fight for their faction, they're just there. What if in a UN meeting there was some demon clown trying to lift bans on nuclear warfare? It's completely nonsensical. It's great, and I love it, but it's still nonsensical.
