Baza, Gardener of Piltover

Baza holds a basket of fruit in one hand and uses her other hand to throw them. She skips along the Rift like Annie does, childlike and carefree.

Baza is a young female yordle with an affinity for plantlife, herbal medicines, and different species of flora and fauna. She can speak to the earth, and it listens intently, growing her garden with the utmost of care and attention.

"The earth has a bounty to give, if only you give first."

Baza comes to the rift to study the wilds and make sure it's well maintained, seeking new knowledge about how the crystals of the nexus and the magic powers of the combatants effect the land. She also seeks to understand how Zyra remains sentient, healthy, and self-aware, for she seeks friends and wishes the plants could speak to her the way she speaks to them.

(I'm not good at the math, but here's some basic idea of what she does.)

Baza is a mage with a plethora of different abilities, so it's hard to fit her only mid, or only bot as support.

Passive - Gift of Nature Baza gains increased mana regeneration while in the brush.

Baza begins the game with an item in her inventory called Ancient Seed. She can activate it to bestow_ Ancient Blessing_ upon an ally. When Baza dies, after 3 seconds a Life Tree grows in that spot that acts as a Sight Ward with decreased vision that lasts 180 seconds. The champion who has Ancient Blessing can right click her Life Tree to consume it for a percent of her missing health and mana, as well as reducing the cooldown of their abilities by 10/20/30% and giving her a small burst of speed that decays over 3 seconds.

When the champion bestowed with Ancient Blessing dies, it also procs Life Tree at that player's location. Only Baza can use an ally's Life Tree. The tree has the same health as a Vision Ward.

Q: Fruit Toss - Baza winds up to throw a green, yellow, or red fruit. The spell's effect rotates in that order. On first cast, Baza slows herself for 20% of her movement speed and channels for up to 4 seconds to throw one of three varieties of fruit from her basket at a targeted location. On second cast, she throws her fruit and damages all units hit in the circle. This circle grows in size during her channel and deals increased damage the father away Baza is from the circle upon reactivating. After the fruit hits the location, a zone of effect in that circle is created for 2 seconds.

Green - Scented Fruit - If an enemy champion touches the zone or is hit by the fruit, they gain a debuff for 4 seconds that gives all enemy champions within a 600 radius 20/25/30/35/40 movement speed when moving toward the scented champion.

"You smell delicious!" (Enemy champions gain 20 movement speed when moving toward this unit.)

Yellow - Sticky Fruit - If an enemy champion touches the zone or his hit by the fruit, they gain a debuff for 4 seconds that slows their attack and movement speed drastically for 2 seconds, decaying over the duration. Moving back onto the zone refreshes this debuff.

"It's everywhere!" (This unit's attack and movement speed are drastically reduced.)

Red - Acidic Fruit - If an enemy champion touches the zone or is hit by the fruit, they gain a debuff for 4 seconds that silences them for 1.5 seconds and deals damage over time.

"Ah! It burns!" (This unit may die from natural causes.)

W - Seed the Earth Baza plants a seed at a location within auto attack range that goes invisible after 2 seconds. Baza can reactivate Seed the Earth after 3 seconds of initial cast. Upon recast within 10 seconds of initial cast, the seed burst into a tree, damaging and knocking away all enemy units near the epicenter. The tree counts as impassable terrain and has 10% of Baza's current health. (When it's dealt enough damage or when Baza dies, it disappears.) This tree will automatically disappear and return to the earth after 4 seconds.

E - Weed them Out Baza summons a plant pet that wanders from point A to point B within a selected range for 30 seconds or until it dies._ (Like Rumble's ultimate.)_ Minions ignore the pet during its travels, as do turrets. When it reaches its destination or when it dies, it explodes, damaging, slowing and revealing an area for 4 seconds, as well as any enemy champions hit in the radius. The pet's health is equal to 10% of Baza's current health + 50% of her ability power.

R - Violent Furrow Baza throws 4 seeds in a wide line a distance in front of her. After a brief delay, brambles shoot from the seeds, rooting and damaging all enemy champions hit. The ground effected by Violent Furrow becomes Unusable Soil for 40 seconds. Champions can't flash away from, dash off of, or recall while standing on Unusable soil.

I really like this character, and I mean alot. However the Q being RNG makes it unfun for both players, so maybe make it cycle through each fruit, show what fruit will be thrown next, or be selected like a twisted fate card W. Also, her E pushes to far into Zyra's territory imho. Otherwise I love his this character. The Q and W are pretty cool and the passive is unique. Sorry you didn't get any other comments, ik how it feels and wanted to help out.

aughghghgh loveee the w ability :DDD fun little springing of a trap :3 though 2 seconds might be a bit much, I'd go for one second. for hte q its a little unclear... should all the puddles last 4 seconds? that might make more sense... for red should it say "any champions who enter this zone are silenced" and I feel like green is... too merciful with the reducing damage for each champ hit. would it do damage per second? for her e, would it be triggered like a maokai sapling and go towards an enemy champ if its near...? or do you reactivate the ability to make it blow up...? oh it just... does its rounds.... I feel like you need to make the damage a more meaningful part of that ability or get rid of it :l the way you worded the ability confuses me... so is it like a skillshot that you can take out? OOH maybe its a little plant pet that runs in a target direction that gets that health bar and deals damage according to how much health it has left at the end of the ability. Now THAT would be cool and for the ult, I'd say that 180 seconds is a bit steep... I'd say 30 seconds at most because that pretty much covers the duration of the battle.

Idk, I'm pretty hands on with my suggestions, do what you want with them :P gj, I hope Riot sees this :D

Thank you for the wonderful feedback!

Okay so a few things.

I want her Q to be really iconic, like the animation is her angrily throwing a piece of fruit so hard it splats on the ground and makes a little messy puddle. The damage isn't the focus here, but the utility of the area created by the puddles of fruit splatters. I designed the colors of the fruits to be in concert with the colors of stoplights and how they effect the driver, Yellow SLOWS, Green GOES, and Red STOPS. Slow, Silence, Movement buff. That's my aim and I think the psychology behind knowing the nature of stoplight colors will help the player easily remember what each fruit does without really having to think about it.

I'll post a new update on the plant pet when I can think of a better solid revision.
