I think that, on one hand, you have people with legitimate complaints that order themselves neatly and present not only information about the problem, but also methods of how to solve it. These are the people with actual agendas, and they give their information, support it with strong evidence, and present it in a calm manner. Those people absolutely deserve a Riot response
Then ya got the "nerf Lee/Zed" QQ threads with like 3 words of text. If Riot doesn't answer, then they assume Riot is completely incompetent at their job (whether or not they are is up for you to decide).
Many, MANY times, though, it is the latter. I can go into the Gameplay and Balance section of the boards and get depressed and sad, and sometimes even outright angry at Riot for doing the things they do.
Then I go into the Community Creations, and suddenly there is calm. Sweet, soothing tranquility. Nobody rages or whines or begs or trolls (unless there's a red post, in which case people do not waste the opportunity to bombard them with questions unrelated to the actual topic), it's just a showcase of some really good fan-made stuff.
Yeah, Riot should communicate their intentions and probably listen to some people's feedback. At this point, though, people are seriously running out of patience for them, so we will continue to see more of the latter posts and less of the former posts.
