Suggestion for a better board

I think it would be nice if the boards were change a bit, because right now random downvotes can destroy a post you put a lot of effort in, just because one grumpy guy thinks it's bad or whatever.

I've seen posts get -1 within seconds after posting so I have deleted and reposted them several times just to see if the result would be the same, but suprisingly reposting it works. I have had several posts that failed on first submission just to see them succeed the second time, which is kind of stupid.

So I suggest that downvotes are removed and posts only depend on kudos/upvotes. The problem is that really bad posts and comments will become an issue, however we can fix it with a report system that hides these comments or posts after several reports and no upvotes.

I just think it's unfair to people that are not popular enough, that their posts, no matter how good just fail to accomplish anything. I mean Laughing Fish could post a turd and get to Hot while I could post a masterpiece and get shit on. No disrepect, Laughing Fish is great!
