We need a boards moblie app!

Seriously it is needed. The phone will notify you when you get stuff like news and comments. The boards on mobile loads so dam slow and is hard to navigate. Please Riot!

I think we need a official LoL app, that will have:

Champion details (Like the website)
News
Some sort of forums

At least that.

As nice as it would be, I dont think Riot would invest the money to make an app that limited number of their player base would use. Unless they add a feature like an optional authenticator, but even then... that is a lot of money and time investment for Riot.

Yes, but is that in revenue or profit? 1 billion in revenue does not translate in 1 billion in profit... 1 billion in revenue is the amount of money gained before expenses. Just because they have the money to create something doesn't mean they should make the investment.

That being said i would love to see an app where you can access the boards, item and champ info, possibly a code generator for log in, and possibly a chat feature for your friends list when you log into the app.

But! i would much prefer them to integrate a way for them to allow you to save your replay data, I've tried lol replay and that doesn't work... i can only watch about 3 minutes max before it says there is an error. So an in client program would be much more efficient for me... even if it autosaves the replay to my computer, I'd just use my removable Hard drive to store it.

Few things to address here.

As far as investment is concerned, it depends on the definition of a mobile app. Logging into the Boards is a pain in the ass on mobile devices since the credentials window doesn't scale with the rest of the screen; this functionality is required for the Boards.

If the app were useful player-wide, my assumption is that drastically more players would use that app than the Boards. Do you feel the Boards is a waste of resources?

Just implement more mobile support would be fine. They can solve a lot of their issues with local storage. But right now they can't even keep someone login in their system.

They still have a lot of work todo.
