[BUG] In General discussion, I can't enable the discussion view!

It's really weird, but in General discussion, I can only view posts chronologically. It's quite confusing - unlike others, I like the discussion view. So why can I not use it in general discussion, place with most posts overall?

It's not a bug, it's intended to make the General Discussion board feel more like the old forum from which that community was uprooted. Discussion View is intentionally disabled in GD.
