Rioters need to restrain themselves and stick to the correct forums when they post.

What essentially happens when a Rioter posts:

  1. Someone makes a thread about the strength of, say, Assassins in Gameplay and Balance.
  2. A member of Riot's Art department makes a comment on their Official Riot account.
  3. This attracts attention to the thread and discussion commences...only for the Rioter to say something along the lines of 'I have no context on this topic and this will most likely not happen'.

The other issue is that Rioters don't consistently post in their 'designated' forum topics. It really makes Riot visits to the forums seem far less official and more so on the side of casual - they seem more independent rather than as a member of Riot's staff. This is probably just as bad as there being no Red Posts in the mind of the daily forum goer.

I'm sorry, are we really going from "Riot doesn't communicating enough." to "Riot isn't communicating in the right way."?

No, we're going from 'Riot posts plenty but it doesn't feel like that' to 'don't post on Riot accounts if you have no official input on the topic'.

They say they don't post on important issues because nothing is set in stone, but you are right, they shouldn't talk at all.

Personally I'd rather have more Rioters posting, even not in their area of expertise, than fewer Rioters posting, period.
