Vote for adding a Player Concepts section separate from Fan Creations

My reasoning is as follows:

Player Concepts = Game ideas that players post with the intent of "this could be in the game"

Fan Creations = "Look at this cosplay", "Look at this cool cake I made", "Listen to this parody of Teemo's ugliness"

Anyone else with me? :(

I think this should be its own category because Fan Creations is to big of a category to also include champion concepts made by players. When I think of Fan Creations I think of drawings, fan made lore, music, even things like that new Beyond the Rift video that was made. Those are Fan Creations. Champion concepts should be their own category and actually looked at and possibly even made into a champion if good enough (with credit thrown to the player who made the original concept).

I'm not sure I agree. You could argue that a Player created champion is a, you guessed it, player creation. Likewise, a good cosplay or teemo parody could be considered a "player concept".

I don't feel like there is enough differentiation between the two to warrant the seperation. Honestly, that much subdividing is one of the reasons why GD has everything lumped into one section; no one has time to check 20 sections for everything they are interested in.

I agree with giving Concepts their own outlet, as I don't think many people realize just how many concepts are poured out every day, but I still think it should be associated with Fan Creations, a sub-sub-topic f you will. My 2 cents :)

I think it would be great to have a game concepts section where people could iron out the details of new ideas in the comments and Riot could come look at the most popular.

Fan creations is just cool stuff to look at, but not really important for the future of the game. I wouldn't want a great post about itemization to get lost to someone's boobily cosplay.

We don't need more sub-leddits. What we need is a good tagging system. That way everybody can customize their own categories for their interests.
