I ask again: Can we get a "hide thread" option?

I'm getting so sick of constantly seeing nothing but the same threads about the same shit and all the blatant karma whoring all the time. Since there are no rules forbidding this, can we at the very least have an option to hide threads? The "Gameplay" section is always constantly full of a billion threads covering the exact same stale topics with no actual discussion being had about it. It makes me not even want to use the boards at all.
