Lack of report options

One of the things that annoys me about the boards is that it's impossible to actually specify what it is you're reporting with a comment but despite this inability to expand on why you're reporting, there's such a limited option of reasons you can report. Only 4: Offensive, spam, harassment + inappropriate board.

What about general trolling that isn't necessarily offensive or harassment but is still actively trying to anger people? There are so many threads in Gameplay & Balance now, all by the same person (who apparently was previously banned so made a new account) and all of them are just a random incendiary message designed to stir up anger in the community. But the threads can't be reported because... they're not necessarily any of the things we can report. Is flamebait something allowed on the boards?

Moderation will always be something of a fine line, because sometimes it's hard to tell what's flamebait and what's just somebody being ignorant. See also.

I think that in general, if you don't think that these posts are flamebait, and that flamebait is acceptable, you should report them by whichever option -- Offensive, Spam, or Harassment -- you find is the best fit, even if none is a perfect fit. When they're deciding whether to remove content, the mods DO take into consideration how many times it has been reported.
