Why is there no generalized suggestions board? I often want to suggest things but often have no idea where I should put it because it could involve multiple things such as: story and art, sound and music, game play and balance (ect)

Hyrum Graff1 votesPut it in the section it most pertains to. What's an example of content you feel belongs in multiple places?
Ih8ucuzurtoxic1 votesAnd if there isn't one? They don't really belong in misc.

I'm fairly certain the only guidelines for misc are "(Mostly) League-related" and "doesn't fit in another section," so I'm not sure how you could have a piece of content that fits in neither misc nor another board.
I do feel you on, there are certain things I don't want to put in misc. For example, I really wish we had a board to talk about player behavior initiatives, team builder, the client, and other systems like that. But as to belonging, I don't follow you.
Is there a specific example of content we could talk about?
Ih8ucuzurtoxic1 votesActually, I agree with you. My comment means that Misc is just too broad a section and wouldn't allow for proper attention to be paid to things like "Suggestions" or "Behavior/Tribunal" and others we could think up.
I feel that Misc. on a board makes it more of an erroneous post that isn't really paid the proper attention.
