Threads getting deleted - Renegade Moderator on the run?

I'd like to know why two of my recent threads have been deleted from the Live Gameplay Balance board. To be precise, said threads were aimed at discussing potential changes to the champions Lissandra and Cassiopeia and the issues they're facing within the meta.

I've spent precious time on coming up with my arguments and seeing them simply removed from the board has left me at a loss of words. Anyone on here who can explain to me why this is happening?

I was able to secure the link to one of those threads (http://community.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/live-gameplay/7WlLBwEI-what-happened-to-cassiopeia), maybe someone can figure out who's responsible for removing them?

Edit: I decided to give it a shot on the Champions & Skins board, let's hope it'll stay up this time.

My thread was deleted in exactly the same manner as yours, in the same section.(http://community.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/live-gameplay/GTWcV99N-lets-talk-about-rite-of-the-arcane-xeraths-ultimate).

The thread disappeared from my profile, and loading that link (from my browsing history) just gives a white screen.

Either the moderation in the community beta is poor, or the boards are incredibly buggy. I highly doubt the latter, as this is the first time it's happened.

If it is due to them being in the wrong board, simply deleting them is a very silly decision, rather than simply moving them to the appropriate section.

IMO: Live Gameplay Balance should be about discussing improvements to a champion's gameplay, while C&S should be about visuals, thematic improvements or kit reworks/VUs/relaunches.

If your thread was deleted after this update to the forums happened, you should have received some kind of notification about it / feedback on why it was deleted.

Strangely I recieved nothing like that, I even checked my mail-account to make sure. I'd like an official response from one of the moderators on that matter.

Keep in mind, the update just happened a few hours ago. Before now, some of the content was there, but Moderator Notifications was not active until 12:00pm PST today.

Ok, first, check your profile box at the top right. It may not be up and running yet, but there should be a message in the link with the exclamation point.

The system might not be in place yet then with the live preview and what not.

Anyway, yeah I've had this happen to me recently too. There are a lot more mods and their going to be more active now, with the clearer guidelines and names. The way it's been explained to me (I'm paraphrasing) is if the subject of the post is a champion (even if it is their place in the meta, numbers and everything) then it goes into C&S, Live Gameplay Balance is for more broad subjects like roles and items. There is going to be a lot of crossover, but it'll come down to what the core of the subject is.

I'm gonna assume they got deleted because they were in the wrong sections, especially if they were about Lissandra and Cassiopeia.

"These boards aren’t for feedback about changes in testing on the PBE environment, champ kits, or maps. We’ve got a bunch of other boards for those discussions. Always vote for posts based on how valuable you think the content is, and most importantly, better nerf Irelia."

That's not entirely true, there are several people who post similiar threads on there and even get responses from Riot's balancing team. I did the same many times before and never had any problems, this is the first time my threads were deleted.

They could at least leave a notifaction or try to move the threads to the other board if that really were the case - but nothing like that happened.

Champion concepts were also wiped from community creations, one of which had custom art made for it, so I am a bit perplexed as to why they erased them.

Greetings, just came across this. I haven't looked into your past threads to see if there's any accidentally missing content, but notifications should be coming through in the new Boards launch of the previously known as Community Beta. We haven't started formally directing traffic to the new site yet. If you did receive a message, it would be present in the new experience.

Hey Canastus,

Moderation notifications are beginning to happen today. Moving forward, every action that moderators take will generate a message that will explain why the action was taken, which rule it violated, and what (if any) punitive action will take place.
