best way to improve your forum experience

Just install fek 3.0 and things will look a lot better.

Thought about writing a lengthy post on how to fix this mess but considering that almost 500 down votes on tamats thread before the forced change didn't get them to change anything about the horrible user interface here, it seems like any thread that gets created here won't be able to overcome the ego of the rioter driving these changes.

At least with this tundra fizz fellow you can count on actual improvements based on feedback.

Well said. Like I said though, I'm pretty sure their goal is to get the GD community to stop posting all together. That's the only explanation I can fathom as to why they've done this in the face of such a massive backlash.

Do you have a link to FEK 3.0?

My forum experience with the old forum modes were fine. I don't feel compelled enough to install something like FEK, just to post to a discussion on a board. The new boards here literally hurt my eyeballs looking at them, and I do indeed notice some of the features others have complained about being gone. I'll likely just lurk more, post less and it hardly matters since it seems like Riot cares less these days anyway what their regular players are up to.

I don't think it's fair to say that the Boards team has ignored feedback. The vast majority of changes they've made, have been because people asked for them.

I mean, c'mon, Frosthaven is on the Boards team now. Do you think he's a different person, just because he's working for Riot now?

Remember what I said about Rioter's Ego's? Even they admit you should just go to fek if you don't like how things are - the depressing colours on the forums being the example here.

We will be playing around with a few 'quality of life changes' with regards to readability and hierarchy but we won't be changing the color scheme of the Boards in the near term. We love that the community gets involved in personalization and offering creative alternatives. Check out the FEK 3.0 offering from Tundra Fizz for more options.
