No Cooldown on Views by Individual IP-address?

I was clicking on my topic several times and I noticed that every time I clicked, it gained a view. If I were to click back and forth from boards to my topic I could reach 100 views using my computer alone. Shouldn't there be a cooldown on giving views from individual IP?

But in all seriousness, maybe an IP or account cooldown would be good.

You would think so. But I've noticed many forums/boards operate this way.
