The one and only reason why I use these boards instead of the current forums is...

The ability to track replies to my posts. This literally is make-or-break for me when using a forum so busy as the LoL forums.

Yeah, I love that feature. I can't wait till this board is more frequently used than the original forums.

Would rather just see them re-enable all the forum features that every forum is supposed to have, than rebuild reddit and paste the LoL logo on it.

This a common complaint. Between that and "SO MUCH WHITE!", keep in mind it's still in Beta and can change suddenly. It has been very slow to (noticeably) update as of late though. Either they're cooking up something big or have been working behind the hood a lot.

I think it's less rebuilding reddit, and more that nested comments just make sense. It's only taking things that existed on the original boards and transposing them to a more readable and user friendly environment. And as Sir ArmaMalum said, it's still entirely in beta.

Nested comments are only good when you assume that each person replies only to one other person, and you break the post down into multiple sub-discussions. It kills the chronological discussion of the thread as a whole.
