There Should Be A Global Boards Leaderboard

You Just Won. Or the esport kid who posts and tells his trove of minions to thumbs up his posts.

It's not a contest, but I conceded to Laughing Fish a while ago. I don't think anyone is beating him.

Upvotes are a terrible metric for determining any sort of content value, unfortunately. It's much easier to upvote a random meme post than it is to upvote a well written and thoughtful post, for example, and this applies to almost everything.

An upvote leaderboard would incentivize upvote farming, regardless of whether you view it as a contest or not, and I don't think something like that would provide enough benefit to outweigh the fact there'd be a lot more content that has no purpose other than upvote spam.
