The Community is Killing the Game

The demographic has changed so much that it is impossible to enjoy it anymore, because of players who just want to annoy people on purpose. What's the point in playing anymore? I do my best, be nice, play the game and just be a team player. You get so far ahead and everyone else gets so far ahead, that your teammates sit there and just don't want to play anymore because the "game is boring". So these players feed, int and are toxic on purpose. This is allowed in games. In Riot's eyes these players really are important.

If the Wukong says, "Wait, we have a Xeyah? I didn't know we had a Xeyah." The guy is 23 kills and hardly any deaths but he is "so bored" that he goes into 1vs4 fights on purpose to feed and annoy players. The Quinn is 20 something kills and hardly any deaths but she doesn't want to group up because she is "so bored". What's the point in playing anymore Riot? The community on the boards says its okay for people to do this. You think it is okay for people to do this. Why don't I just que into a game and just ruin it for everyone else? The entire community thinks this is acceptable behavior. Let's all be toxic and ruin the game for everyone else.

Yeah. I don't believe that. I was brutally attacked and harassed in one of my other threads about toxic players and it is apparently all my fault. I deserved it.

You were told that others disagree with you and think you are wrong, and players provided reasoning. I have attempted to concisely summarize that reasoning below in my comment here.

People disagreeing with you does not make it a "brutal attack" or "harassment", just like players feeding does not suddenly become trolling just because they're on your team.

No you didn't. You basically said I was wrong like the rest of them. Sit there and defend them. Let these players continue to be the way they are game after game and then come and comment on my stuff. Dcing that much, being toxic, and straight up feeding that much is nothing more than inting.

I have pointed out, as have others, that you are suffering from cognitive bias. You have experienced (as everyone has) toxicity before rarely, as well as an extremely rare troll. You are then projecting those negative experience onto other players who are not violating the rules because you want to blame them for things.

You do not get to say "1+2+3 = 54". That is what you're trying to say. Someone having a bad game, then leaving that game, and being toxic in chat does not make them a troll who gets an immediate and escalated punishment. They will be at risk for punishment for their AFK/leave, as well as for their toxic behavior, but that does not make them a troll.

So me venting and being upset about people deliberately doing this is not acceptable? You are defending them by telling me to basically "shut up and deal with it." It happens all the time. Stop defending them and hold them accountable. As an advisor you are an imbecile. You really are.

You venting is fine. This is the Community Boards. The Boards are for discussion. If you want to vent without players responding to you discussing what you post, the boards are not what you're looking for.

And yes, if you're venting about behavior that you claim is punishable but is not actually punishable (at least not to the degree you claim it should be), I will defend them. They do not deserve to be punished for trolling unless they were actually trolling.

It is punishable. It is punishable because in this ELO that I am playing ranked games in, they are doing it every single game. I went out of my way to do this just for you, moron. The community you defend and the community you are sitting here advocating for, is not worth your time. Stop saying these players don't deserve to be punished. Stop saying these players are not the problem but players like me are. These guys qued into match and griefed, dced the entire game, fed, harassed other players who just shouldn't be acting like this in ranked games. The punishment system doesn't stop them from doing it once and ruining games. The punishment system either doesn't pinpoint it because players are smart enough to fool it or the system takes almost 100+ games to hand out a punishment to players that should have had at least a chat restriction in a game.

In your eyes, it is players like me who are the problem and try to play this game. A lot of how I am acting right now is because the past 4 games in ranked I have played have all been extremely toxic because of other players. You responding to my threads and basically calling me a liar and calling me out, is making you look like an imbecile.

People like you are what is wrong with the world. Just because someone comes on here to vent and start a conversation, doesn't mean losers like you have to defend them. The community is bad because of the system just not punishing them and teaching them a lesson. Stay out of my conversations you twit if you have nothing else to comment on.

Don't really care. She is, for the second time, pretending to be this holy and mighty person. She is defending toxicity and making it sound like it is acceptable to que into ranked games and do this to people. Instead of saying something like, "just report them and file a ticket." Instead the "Advisor" game into two of my threads and basically called me a liar, that I was in the wrong, that it was my fault, and that I need to stop.

I'm the one who had to play in the game and experience it. I am the one who had to deal with the person running their toxic mouth, leaving on purpose multiple times, and feeding every lane where almost everyone else was winning. If the moron wanted to basically call me a liar and blame me for what I experienced in my ranked game, maybe she should work on her approach or shut her mouth.

While I understand you are upset about things, I am going to have to request that you discontinue the name calling of other posters and of the Advisors. While you are free to disagree and engage in discussions with Advisors where you each share your opinions, the Boards Universal Rules ask that you always be respectful in your disagreements. Calling others names, even Advisors or other Boards Moderation Team members will not be tolerated.

This is a formal request, any other instances of this occurring will be met with deletions and possibly punishments to your Boards posting privileges. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt here, believing you are just very upset.

@Evangele = Please lock the thread. I'm done with this and my venting is over. Then she needs to stay out of my threads if she has nothing positive to say. I am over it now but this is the second time she came into my thread and started with me. I don't want her in my threads again.

You want players to be punished for being bad, and for leaving a game.

Players are not punished for being bad. Players are not punished for one instance of AFK. Emergencies happen.

No, they don't. The behaviors you mention are punished when they occur. The problem is you are vastly overestimating their occurrence. You are attempting to justify your losses and frustration by claiming something exists where it doesn't. This is a common bias in psychology, and you are falling prey to it.
