10 Game chat ban for what?...

Legitimately said nothing toxic, and yet I get a chat ban... whereas the truly toxic, abusive and troll teammates I played with, and nonstop griefers and trolls for the past 3 days almost every single game, go unpunished.

Leona jungle who also still only has machete by the end of the game, with a titanic hydra... Nautilus who refuses to get a single support item, and the enemy Jhin who agrees with me about his build, yet still somehow finds a way to troll me about it and say "you don't know how to support if you think anyone should ever fully upgrade their support item" .. meanwhile his insanely fed brand support has his at like 12 minutes.

0-9 Naut telling me and caitlyn we're "trash" and "bad" at end game lobby, and "don't solo" in game, while he's clearing raptors with his cinder, spectres cowl, chain vest, celestial eye and 3 pink wards or straightup afk in the base for 3-4 minutes 3 different times. Not the only one who told him to stay with adc either.

Lissandra who's telling me I'm "inting" because I chased a leblanc shutdown for too long who had 3% hp, and 0 mana, no flash, no ignite, and the insanely fed Eve who camped our bot lane killed me (cus you know, I can see totally her coming, right?). After that same leblanc came top roughly 7 or 8 times and camped me with little to no pings or reaction from our mid.

Had a bad game, a very bad game, after a series of bad games due to trolls just like this... pretty much nonstop for the past 3 days. Getting tired of it. Already beyond tilted and annoyed. And now I get chat banned, reported by these griefers, for apparently being toxic?... how exactly?...

Just one game too. One game of nothing said that was even toxic. Because I TRIED to keep my cool despite being griefed for like the 15th time in a span of 3 days. The amount of trolls in this game is absolutely out of fucking hand. And I'm getting to the point where I'm not sure if I even care anymore if I do BECOME toxic and get banned. Especially after this nonsense chat ban.

EDIT: And just to clarify... my saying to naut that he's 0-5, was in response to him asking "why do I get blown up so easily". NOT as an insult to him.

Even if your teammates really are trolls, if you call them trolls then you're throwing insults that will be caught by the automatic system. You're generally being negative and harassing teammates for their build choices and play styles.

In general, you're throwing the troll label around way too liberally. Trolls are players who are deliberately trying to tilt you. Everything I see here suggests that you're complaining about players who have their own ideas how to build and play, which conflict with your preconceptions on how they should play. In some cases, they may just not know the best way to do things. In others, they may be trying things that they think will work.

Try giving helpful advice rather than berating them on their choices. If they're not receptive, then just roll with it. Don't assume that anyone with a non-opitimal (by your standards) game plan is a troll.

That is.. precisely what they WERE trying to do. Did you not get that from the fact that the Naut was afking in base and calling us bad/telling us not to solo? And avoiding his adc at all costs (literally griefing her), despite our whole team telling him to stay with her... and his response is a toxic "nah she sucks i wont support her" in other words, response. Nor was I even the only one calling him and leona out for any of this...

But either way, since when was calling someone a troll even considered an insult, or reportable offense? Calling someone a troll is calling them out for griefing, not saying "hey you're shit, you're bad, uninstall" or being purposely insulting or abusive. "Troll" isn't even in any way an insult ??

Not to mention this was all only ONE game, and with "troll" being the reason for ban??? Since when did people even get banned based on one match, one bad game? Even if I was being 'actually' toxic? Which I sure as hell wasn't.

If that's honestly the case, and the reason I got this chat ban, then I really don't even care any more, this shit is out of hand and ridiculous. People who get griefed repeatedly are the ones who get punished for doing nothing but simply calling them out on it in the absolute least toxic and insulting way possible.

Kinda just don't wanna fucking play this game anymore.

the actions of another dont allow you to perform certain actions yourself.

also calling someone out as a troll does nothing positive. the person wont stop if you say "stop troll" or anything like this. and thus its considered negative.

I was responding to the enemy team when they laughed and asked why I chased leblanc so hard, when I used the term troll - saying "my teams are trolls anyway, so why not" as in this match is unwinnable, so I may as well do stupid things to try and get a kill for fun.

And Liss calls me an "inter" for the rest of the game for that one death, spamming "report teemo feeding/inting" in all chat (after once again, being camped by HER laner) - to which even the enemy team replied "uhh dude he wasn't" even the enemy jhin who was by far the most toxic one there said I clearly was just having a bad game...

The point is, I said one thing that 1) I didn't even KNOW was reportable, 2) SHOULDNT be reportable because it's not offensive or insulting in any way, much less chat banned on one freaking bad game, 3) was nothing more than calling 'actual' toxic 'actual' inters/griefers out on what they were actually doing

you cannot possibly sit there and tell me that I should have been punished for this. whether it was bad or not, or I should have known better or not, it is absolute horseshit that one game of the absolute most minimal "toxicity" (which it wasn't even) possible in nothing but response to my griefing team, deems me necessary to be penalized. give me a fucking break.

this game isn't worth this kind of frustration from both it's toxic community and riot. certainly not any more.

when did calling the 3 players (not 4, because while cait was doing bad, she wasn't trolling), who were legitimately trolling the other two of us, trolls, become an insult, rather than stating what was actually happening, even if it is now somehow an insult on it's own?

can't even tell you the sheer amount of times ive been insulted by actual toxic players just for trying to give legitimately friendly advice on their builds. and the funny part is... they say things that are really truly offensive and hateful... and get away scott free when we report them.

but me? nope. chat banned for calling trolls, trolls, and from only one game.

And there's your problem. Ask, don't tell. You are not the LCS team coach, the dungeon master, or a Riot employee. You are not a god, you do not have the authority to tell other people how to play.

You can only suggest, and suggesting involves emotions.

Ask nicely. Use reasoning. You might be surprised.

You talk too much and your overall attitude is full of negativity and I'd even label this as a little toxic too. Next time don't complain or ridicule your teammates, but rather give them advice on e.g. what items to buy. Keep it simple and positive. If you can't deal with that, turn off your whole chat. In the long run the system will detect your negativity only and you will be punished for that. That isn't always justified, but it is what it is. It's how the system works and you will have to deal with that. So I'd advice you to stay calm and positive, or rather type as little as possible. This advice comes from a 6-time permabanned ex-toxic guy.

negative because im sick of being griefed for 15 games in 3 days. you're damn fucking right im negative now. my negativity is a byproduct of this bullshit system, as I see happen with so many others who are legitimately just trying to play the game and are griefed by asshole children who just want to piss everyone off ON PURPOSE.

nothing i did whatsoever was ridiculing my teammates, what part about them straightup griefing us did you not get? and sorry but no, the games not worth me taking your advice anymore

Don't get me wrong, I know your feelings. I've been there too, a lot of times. What I'm trying to say is getting angry is one thing, but expressing that anger is another story and that is what the system detects and punishes you for. The best thing to do is just let the trolls be, report them if possible and hope for the best. You can't really change their behavior and being negative isn't gonna help a thing, but will in the end result in restrictions or bans on your own account. It sucks, but it is the reality...

i get what you're saying too, but I just disagree. i dont think people who are actually keeping their cool and not saying anything truly inherently toxic should be punished. that's not the part that i disagree with though, the part that i disagree with is that i should continue on and put up with this bullshit system when it's just not worth it anymore.

why should i play a game where 15 out of 20 games ive played have been trolls like this? i admit even for league and the elo im in that's a LOT more than usual, but it's still pretty damn soul crushing, and by itself makes me not want to bother playing anymore... but then the fact that i DID remain calm and consciously tried NOT to insult anyway or do anything even remotely reportable.. but still somehow got reported AND punished for one game, in one fell swoop, is pretty much the last straw for me.

and with how bad the state of the game is going (normally i dont buy into this kinda talk on these forums, as you can see from a lot of my posts, but you have to admit it is BAD now), i'm at a point where I think can finally just stop caring if i even get perma banned or straight up quit. and that's a byproduct of this community and riot's inability with all their income and resources to handle it appropriately, not of me just simply wanting to be toxic.

The system is evidently far from perfect, I agree. I don't support the fact that Riot restrict or ban people who say one bad word due to them being trolled or flamed at. But it is how the system works, and we can't change a thing about that. You've gotta deal with it, or accept the consequences if you don't. It took my 6 accounts to eventually deal with it, but in the end it really is the best since you dupe yourself if you are negative.
