Riot claims to be trying to make LoL more like a "classical sport" yet this crap continues...

Recap of my last three ranked games:

  1. Support gives up first blood, ADC flames, bot feeds, blame game ensues, top lane tilts from it, and then calls me an "autistic %%%got" when I try to tell the team to settle down and just play safe.

  2. We fall behind a bit early, but that's expected because we picked a very strong, tanky, late game comp. However, our zed doesn't accept this, announced that he's leaving at 20 mins regardless of the outcome of the surrender vote, and does exactly that. Eventually he came back to afk farm literally on the opposite side of the map, and when we would try to group around him, he would either run away from us to put as much distance as possible, or he would just walk to the closest bush and wait for us to leave.

  3. enemy team picks graves jungle. And thanks to the fine work of the Riot games balance team, ya...but of course, no ranked game would be complete without the obligate flaming that followed regarding who allowed the graves to get fed.

I legitimately do not know what to do here. I love ranked, I love the competition. But the BM, flame and blame, etc that I am forced to endure every single game, coupled with the farce that is Dynamic Queue, I'm legitimately considering leaving the game.

I played the overwatch open bata this weekend, and the same things happened to me. Insults (one said to me was I'm an Autistic fuck), multiple people dcing after 2 minutes into the game (leaving me and my duo partner as the only ones on our team -.-), and finally 3 fucking Bastians sitting in corners on the point that they were defending (which is nearly impossible to counter). I'm sorry you have to go through this, but until gamers start actually respecting eachother, this will happen no matter what game you're playing.

Heh this is exactly like a classical sport. Obliviously you weren't in an elementary school baseball league. Outfield misses a catch, the kids infield start complaining and putting down the kid who dropped it, thereby pulling the hopes of the good players on the team down so that when its time to bat they can't hit jack and come back and blame it on everyone's bad attitude continually snowballing the effect until the team might as well give up with how bad everyone is playing.

Also the reference to the elementary school age league was entirely intentional, from my experience it fits perfectly.

When you think "classical" sport your thinking the pro's of that sport, but you gotta make it there, you're still in little league mate. summoner 32
