@Riot: Jungler Hate and Statistics.

So i'm a bit curious, there are Riot Made statistics for a huge number of things such as the lack of interest in jungle for low ELO player's or back when support was the least liked role.

Is there a statistic or is there a way to compile data that does these things.

  1. How many Jungle Mains get Banned/Chat Restricted per ELO per X amount of time.
  2. How often do player's get Banned/Chat Restricted for Flaming their jungler.
  3. How often does a jungle player end up dealing with Toxic Behavior in game.

I feel like i get flamed about 8 out of 10 games, i'v been chat restricted i think 6 times since i started jungle 2 year's ago. Before i became a jungler i didn't flame and i don't remember ever being flamed quite as often nor quite as harshly as i do when i play jungle.

To finish, if these statistics were to come out and say basically "Jungler's get flamed more than everyone else." how could you even fix that and what is it about jungle that causes them to get the most flame in your opinion.

In my opinion there's a lot of reason but it mostly comes down to lack of understanding of the role.

I find it funny how often I get flamed for attacking jungle camps before going into a teamfight on Shyvana or Jax.. "wtf, your team is fighting right there, why are you attacking raptors"?

I can handle people saying something if I do something stupid.. but the people who flame when they do not know what they are talking about are the ones that get me.. if you do not know the mechanics of a champion, you should not be telling people how they should be playing that champion.

If you are looking for positional interest statistics, Meddler has posted it a few weeks back.

We have 0 access to statistics regarding player behavior.

I find junglers get the most flame as well, though many people argue it is support. In my experience, it is undoubtedly junglers.

I would say 1: no. Because what constitutes a jungle "main"? Whats the ratio of jungle to other roles that makes you a main? Like I have around 450k mastery with anivia, but I dont consider myself an anivia main. 2: no. They dont keep track of specifically what role was being flamed when the automated system scans chat. 3: i doubt it. They dont even keep track of how many times anyone was flamed, as for them to even have that metric, people would have to report every single instance of flame. Unreported flame doesnt get counted/measured/even recognized by Riot. And if your jungle is dealing with toxic behavior, then so is everyone else in that game. Unless theyre whispering specifically the jungler... if thats even possible in league.

I love this game and I love playing jungle, but sometimes the amount of flame is straight up suicide fuel. I recommend just turning off chat, don't waste even a second on anyone that plays league, they are mostly terrible people, and I don't think it is worth it to have chat on in the hopes that maybe someone isn't a jerk. If it makes it harder to coordinate, sure you may lose some games as a result but who cares, can't ban you for that, and it isn't your fault.
