I am frightened, Riot is ultra draconian and loves to permaban innocent players, as was evidenced with my case earlier this year.

I hope my account is safe.

Edit: I am enjoying watching the very .... 'unique' people that think I am banned. It becomes increasingly amusing with each one.

For those unable to follow the plot , let me spell it out; I was hit with a zero-to-permaban about 7 months ago and after some back-and-forth, it was overturned... however I was extremely displeased with Riot's complete radio silence on the issue. I didn't even know what I had been permabanned for until days after it happened, I received no chat logs until even later than that.

Even after it was overturned I still wasn't told what happened.... today (Well yesterday now) Riot Tantram has finally given me what I wanted from the first moment this happened, information. I am not currently banned but I was briefly paranoid because of the recent permaban wave coupled with what seemed to be a random permaban that hit my account by a seeming rogue Riot agent.

This has been shown not to be the case, my account is fine, I was not falsely permabanned, Riot did nothing wrong. Though I still hold to the argument that the punishment was overly harsh.

That is the speculation at this time.

Until Riot tells me otherwise, all I can go by are the facts; I was manually hit with a zero-to-permaban punishment for what would be constituted as a minor offense.

I've seen you post in a few place and you seem genuinely concerned, so wanted to give you the facts about what happened based on notes on your account.

You were banned by a human being because you were one of the most reported players in all of NA. Your account was perma-banned after hand review of behavior until you wrote in to Player Support in case the severe behavior was caused by an account compromise and/or to protect others' experience from being ruined. When you wrote in, the appropriate punishment of 2-weeks was assigned.

This is pretty normal. The instant feedback system is not the only review system in place, though it is certainly the most visible.

The escalation process is in place to ensure chronic offenders are given more severe penalties for repeated offenses. It is not in place to shield severe offenders from receiving an instant perma-ban or 14-day ban before chat restrictions.

Yeah but if he's somehow still number one with a phrasing that suggests he was fairly ahead of others in reports, then there must have been at least some mildly existent reason, no matter how valid or invalid it was, consistently displaying in his games.

Not necessarily, if you get falsely accused of murder, even if it's 50+ times, it doesn't mean you're guilty of murder.

I'd put down money on it right now that the vast majority of those reports were not substantiated and were instead, bullshit.... but it doesn't matter, at least now I know Riot's logic and am satisfied to have finally gotten a response to their actions. I don't feel betrayed anymore.

Not a good comparison. media and public like to crucify defendants that they see on tv without actually knowing what happened. However, the league reporting system only allows people to report after a game. if the 50+ people were present at the murder and reported it to police right after the fact then that is very much a strong case against you.

I don't consider my behavior to have been egregious... but leftists/feminists certainly do. Intelligent men on the other hand would see my behavior and not even come close to being in doubt; My toxicity was on the low end of the scale, not worthy a zero-to-permaban or even zero-to-14-day-suspension.

However, Riot decides these things and not me; Notice as well that I have not been punished since march, what is that 7 months ? (ish) so you can sit there and hope for me to be permabanned but you are in for a long wait.

I don't remember saying I wasn't guilty. I remember saying over and over again that the punishment was unjust and a violation of ethical and disciplinary protocol. I still believe that but at least now I can see why Riot would make that call.

Right. You being validly reported hundreds of times for low level toxicity and having a LONG history of being toxic led to your permanent ban. After review they lessened the punishment. They provided the last 3 chat logs from the games prior the review. The hundreds of toxic games prior led to the punishment.

For someone who constantly ignores the logic in people's posts you display very little logic of your own.

You ruined games for hundreds of people with your passive-aggressive/toxic chat.

The punishment didn't fit the crime, and it was adjusted. At this point you just complain on the boards for attention. And silly me, I take the bait.

Holy god.. Lol consistent low level toxicity and toxic behavior is a valid reason for punishment . Which you received. And if you refuse to alter your behavior your next punishment will escalate to a permanent ban. I know you're going to say something a long the lines of, " but it should have been a chat restriction" however, that's incorrect two manual reviews put you at the 2 week ban tier.

The first punishment was admittedly too severe, but the revised punishment is where they thought you should be placed.

This is my logic and what left me feeling extremely betrayed by Riot.

But it doesn't matter, it's in the past and I got what I wanted, a response/explanation from Riot. I have had my faith increased in Riot.

Here are the issues I see with your logs:

Calling people feeders
Telling people they "do nothing" or "do no damage".
Telling people you are putting them on ignore.
Telling your team you are only going to farm.
Telling teammtes you won't go to certain lanes anymore.

Is the the worst thing I've seen? No. With that said, you talk too much dude. I can see why people report you. Your logs are annoying. They consist of very little constructive statements and are full of complaints.

You don't say helpful things like , "maybe this item would help your damage output". You simply say condescending stuff that makes the game experience worse. Bottom line, the stuff you said does not help anything or anyone. It doesn't change the outcome. In fact, odds are it makes it worse.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but I hope you can see how people would take this stuff the way I'm explaining it to you.

It's a little irritating to be on the receiving end of those comments, but I really don't think these are punishment worthy, not even a 10 game chat restriction. They show someone disgruntled at their team and pessimistic, yes, but handling it in a way that's about as civil as can be expected short of not typing at all.

You deserve your ban. My opinion may be garbage, but at least I have never been, nor will be, banned. Maybe, my opinion would be one you should consider.

I just noticed this part and wanted to say; You are talking complete nonsense.

Ex: Summoner spell timers are extremely helpful and arguably one of the most important things that one can communicate to their teammates, something I do in almost every match I play. While I only did it a few times in these specific chat logs, it completely pillages and plunders your argument of "You don't say helpful things".

One "helpful" comment amongst non-constructive ones doesn't exactly help your case.

None of those players were going to listen to you.....even if your statements are correct. This is because you are speaking to them like a total jerk and seem to forget that they are real people.

heck, even in your encouragement of Jihn "gj jihn", you then add the non helpful comment of "finally a teammate that reacts". You can't even say something positive without taking jabs at your other teammates.

Well I am a medical professional in real life and a university professor, along with having held multiple conferences that brought people from all over my nation.

I also have a huge pe....rceived amount of RP. No but seriously, although I consider myself to be fairly well accomplished in real life, my true life is online. I love being here and I love playing video games a lot more than doing stuff in RL.

I don't "need to get out more" I wish I could stay in 24/7.
