PSA: "Report" is a flagged word and will get you banned. Calling for reports is against the rules.

You're supposed to mute, report, and move on. Asking people to report people is against the rules. 99% of the "why was I banned" cases that SEEM to not be toxic are actually because this word was used multiple times.

As a side-note, you can be flagged and be a false-positive if someone threatens to report you and you say the word in response. Example:

Toxic dude: "I'm reporting you" You: "Go ahead and report me. It won't do anything."

There is almost no way for the system to know you are using the word in a non-toxic way. It will just assume you are asking people to report someone, and if you get reported that game it gets flagged as a toxic game for YOU. So refrain from using the word entirely.

You are right in that threatening to report or asking for reports is offensive, because it is agravating and utterly pointless (there is no difference between 1 and 9 reports in the same game)

However you are totally wrong here. The system is incredibly sophisticated. It's not just a first level word filter, but a complex, high level, learning text comparator. It does recognize the difference with a higher than 99% accuracy.

Anyway "Go ahed and report me" is moderately toxic in itself, becasue it's aggravating. So is saying "reported".

I tend to only use the word in response to someone threatening to afk or feed.

"Enjoy your report."

Sometimes they correct their behavior and play the game normally, in which case I don't actually report at the end. If they continue, I do report. That said, I use the word very, very rarely (Once every 50 games sounds right) and have never been punished for it.

I think this environment that Riot has created where you're only expected to mute is frustrating. It's human nature to want to discuss problems. I want the Tribunal back, where each case is reviewed by multiple peers, instead of being handled by bots looking for trigger words.

This is inaccurate information. It is also completely based on your own personal speculation and their is zero evidence to support your claim.
