You should probably stop chat restriction

I have gotten chat restriction just recently for competitive team chat. Swearing? OFC , what is seriously wrong with that. I got a troll adc and carried the entire game. Go ahead and look it up, I wa brand and the adc was gp. He was flaming all game and bming saying i was trash so i talked shit. How is this bad? Sure it is childish but it wasn't an important game because it was norms. Also second was an aram game where the tf was calling me bad then i triple killed him and two others and talked shit to the tf. ALL CHAT WAS MADE FOR COMPETITIVENESS. The entire "no it is not it was made for gl hf and ggwp" No it was not. Maybe once, but let's be honest, the only reason you'd type in all chat is for competitive trash talk. Stop being a baby. They are words. Restricting that is stupid if it is a competitive game . BTW No, i dont have chat logs i clicked accept too quickly because i didnt realize i wanted to rant about it until i realized just how annoying chat restriction is.

TL;DR Maybe /all chat restriction is a good compromise to chat restriction, but chat restriction makes it annoying if you got it for all chat trashtalk so then it results you in not being able to communicate

You were not restricted for swearing, that isn't the issue. It's using it in a such a way that creates a negative environment for the other players, typically directing it at them in a hostile manner. You will be punished for that behavior whether there was a curse word in there or not.

Also, you should get an email with your reform card as well, though it may only have 1 game of chat logs due to email size restrictions.

a negative environment? All chat is optonal, not to mention it was a two way street. I never bm'd on my own accord. Not that that is even a relevant issue.

Nobody forced you to do anything, but I assume you mean "you didn't start it". Nobody cares who started it, that is a child's excuse, please do not use it. You are responsible for your actions.

All chat is optonal

You're right; if you refuse to use it properly, do not use it. You have that option. It's up to you to control your actions, not up to the others to do it for you.

the problem isnt that riot is "chat restricting toxic players" it's they are punishing people for hurling a few insults at a bad player. or defending thier pride against someone who says things that let's face it. if someone told you in real life you would probably punch them. all while letting trolls and people who try to goat people into being toxic get away with it.

it's like sex offender registry. everyone knows it's a flawed system that does more harm then good and actually increases the likelyhood of reoffending. but no one that actually matters will speak out against it because if they do they "support sex offenders" if anyone at riot were to speak out against how problematic the report system actually is. they would be labled as "supporting toxic players"
