So how exactly calling someone 'f-word' is worse than calling someone a 'retard' or cancer-wishes?

Because there are organizations that protect feelings of homosexuals and there aren't such organizations for physically and mentally ill people?

I'm not the one banned for this, and I don't call people such names, and I'm not even a gay-hater.

This is serious and honest question, treating non-straight people problems as more important only builds false feeling of social acceptation and equality.

Or, people could just not be an asshole and not have to be punished for either. And yes, both of them should be more or less grounds for an instant permaban. If it's not, I disagree with it not being so.

Doesn't matter which is worse. Both are still reportable & will get you punished. And I don't see how the title means anything different to anyone being homo or not.

The only thing more annoying then people who let words hurt them are the people who are offended by people being offended.

Well Riot sits in the USA. From what I see on the internet the USA seems to go full tumblr/PC mode at the moment, identifying the usage of fggot automatically as homophobia (which it isn't). The problem is that there's a vocal minority on the internet that looking to get offended at anything possible, and the media is catering towards those people (probably to make themselves look progressive and open minded). I'm a European so I'm with you when you say that this is retarded, but this is Riots turf so we have to play by Riots rules.

(Fun fact: US organizations also annually publish a "diversity report" to show how incredibly progressive they are. It's basically a report showing how many % of their employees are black/hispanic/gay/whatever.)

My problem with the whole thing is this is a game tagged mature, with a chat filter, and the ability to mute, and the ability to block. The level of aggressive about what is said in chat really doesn't match the fact that all these methods of keeping your experience minimally impacted by a dick exist.

The a chat filter is not an excuse to excessively curse statement is pretty weak, that's exactly the point. If you don't want to see it, why would you turn it off? Did you want to be offended? You have a mute button, use it. Why do we even have all chat? There is literally nothing you can say to the other team that cant be said post game. This exists only to draw excess toxicity. We have a block feature, meaning you should in theory never draw that player again. Use it.

There are much bigger threats to the community and the level of toxic play that riot should be engaging instead, like the people who lose games on purpose and know because they are "active" that they will escape punishment. I've been playing since this game had a CD for sale and that problem has never stopped existing. XYZ or feed players still exist, and they still say it in chat, and they even continue to know riot wont touch them.. They're too hard to detect.

It really boils down to Riot wanting to look like they've done something so they set up an automated system to detect the simplest things possible and called it "hard work and dedication" when in truth it was only ever a cheap lazy band-aid and anyone with a brain knows it.

Omfg, people like you give me cancer and autism.

There are "organizations" that care about physically and mentally ill people...

Both of that is wrong, calling someone a f** AND wishing cancer. "Retard" used to be a medical term for a certain spectrum of an IQ (lower than usual IQ) but it transformed into an insult, so it's not needed either.

its not worse. they are the same when it comes to punishments.
