Why are players like this allowed to be a part of the league community?

New lobby starts... I'm queued up as the JG

adc: "let me jg" support: "let him jg you asshole" me: "uhh no??" adc: "I'm Jging" locks shaco with smite support: locks warwick with smite me: (tired as fuck of 12 year old griefing childish trolls)

both spend the entire game following me around and stealing every camp with their double smite, griefing me as much as humanly possible in every single way, all for no other reason whatsoever than to just be complete fucking dipshits.

also toxic in all chat without actually saying anything reportable... just plain being obnoxious and the very definition of GRIEFING.

yet if I report players like this... nothing is ever done. actually legitimately makes me want to quit playing league forever. Especially since this is the 3rd game like it today, and it's not even fucking noon yet.

It’s frustrating, but you need to stay chill and report them. Why just this morning someone toxic I played with has made a topic about why he got banned.

It sucks to be with them for one game, but when justice smacks them on the ass with a paddle with a nail through it, it’s pretty satisfying.

Punishments do happen. I get notifications all the time of some a-hole I reported getting his just desserts.

Like I said, it sucks this happened to you. You just got to report them, fill in the commentary box, and karma will smack them on the ass.

You may not believe me, but trust me, these shitwads always get what’s coming.

i DO report people like this, ALL THE FUCKING TIME, and never get notifications. I do however get notifications to people who are blatantly toxic with words. This has been one of the community's major complaints since league began...

Riot does things about these players. I'm not sure why the narrative is that nothing is ever done.

I agree that the response is slower that I'd like, but there are good reasons for that. This game has millions and millions of players; it's non-trivial to find a way to ban all the ones that need to be banned as soon as they exhibit bannable behavior.

The narrative is that way because the feedback reports never come in or the just feel non existent. We don't see results when it comes to things like this.

That's valuable feedback, but for the clarity of others reading the thread, we know why that is. Only the last person to report someone gets an instant feedback report.

We shouldn't use that as evidence that Riot isn't doing anything when we know we won't likely see it even if Riot does something.

but lately i get 15 minute dodge timers even if i hadn't dodged in a week. it's pretty irritating, and they still "win" as trolls on top of it.

because trolling is harder to detect and riot is not doing anything against it. at least i cant remember riot ever mentioning anything they work on against trolls for the past... 6 seasons lol
