Do silent trolls ever get ban?

Ive always wondered this, do these people get ban? The ones that refuse to talk to the team, afk split push, go afk every 5 minutes for 1m at a time and even doing things such as flashing to steal a camp/red? Do these people go untouched or does riot have a way to detect them?

The automated system could never detect that kind of thing. The only way someone doing that would be banned is from a manual review.

Leavebuster would catch the afks (and punish), but isn't likely to ban them. Since riot got rid of the refusing to communicate category, I am no longer certain how to report the ones who do not afk.

This happens in such a tiny number of games tho so I am not certain it is a problem.

Riot has a way to detect them, but it is typically manually reviewed.

Refusing to communicate is filed under "Unsportsmanlike behaviour"

So lets say you have someone in your game that's intent feeding + quiet

  1. Unsportsmanlike ( add comment )
  2. Inting / Griefing ( add comment )

However this doesn't mean you can just report ANYONE for not communicating that would just be abuse of the system

if they do it enough then yes eventually they will get manually reviewed and get banned. if they only do it a game here or there then they will probably never get punished.

No they don't the system is fucked and can't deal with that. If a troll goes 0/13/0 and says gg they have a lesser chance of being punished than the guys that says "God damn you suck".

You'd have to ban millions of people. The behavior you described is my average team mate and it also includes massive feeding.

No, they don't. Unless you're mean in chat, you're not going to get punished.
