How does league punishment/ban system work
I'm not sure how the ban/punishment system works in league.
Are there people looking over reports or is it a robot? etc. etc. Pls fill me in i would like to know.

Before i go ahead and start, everything you might want to know about the punishment system is over here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286-Instant-Feedback-System-FAQ- but I'll try to demonstrate it.
The review is done by a Robot, a smart AI (IFS which stands for Instant Feedback System), however there are cases where there's a manual review such as INT or Scripting (not 100% sure)
the punishment tiers goes like this, taken out from the FAQ link I just gave you Source
First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension
However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.
#I don't really want to make this a long comment as everything you might want to know is in the FAQ. so I'll explain in small words.
The system Only looks at your chat, what this means is that...
- Repeating Hate Speech isn't tolerated at all. so if you typed something bad such as slurs because someone else did you could get punished for it. (Example. informing your enemy team that your bot laner told your jungler "kys" or anything bad across that line)
- it doesn't matter who started a fight, you choose how you behave not others
False Reports does nothing, you won't be punished if you did nothing wrong, False reports rarely happen, and if they do you can just submit a ticket and get your punishment off. (you need a history of INT to get punished for it unless you were too obviously feeding on purpose i think, either way you won't be punished for having a bad game)
1 report is enough to trigger a review, 9x reports doesn't have more power than 1x report (so asking for reports is ridiculous and it could just get you punished since it's considered a harassment)

it doesn't, you pretty much only get punished if you tell someone to kill themselves or racist stuff. everything else never gets punished unless it's REALLY bad
Using the word f@66ot a few times in one game = 14 day suspension. If i'm a f@6, I should be able to use the word f@6. Truf. It seems variations get snagged as well.

This thread has died and been resurrected many times. I think it's best for us to let it rest in peace rather than continuing to perform necromancy on it. If you want to discuss bans and the League punishment system, let's make a new thread rather than disturbing the rest of an old one.
