Instalocking- Riot's priorities

Now before I start my rant, I know this will sound likely unreasonable, but I've reached a point where I need to say something.

Instalocking is one of my biggest peeves. That and the stupid little "?". Both of these come across as rude, arrogant, and inconsiderate, as well as being totally unnecessary. Now can instalocking at least be a reportable offence? Right now there's no repercussion for these players that are selfish enough to instalock, and there's nothing the rest of us can do about it. Riot I know you want to try and save every players feelings, and that simply calling mentioning a word with any potential negative connotation too quickly after a player's name can result in a ban, but with all due respect, that approach is idiotic. Unless you had people ready to sit down and watch EVERY SINGLE GAME BEING PLAYED TO CHECK FOR TOXICITY, IT WONT WORK. Now before you tell me; actually our system does work, it deals with someone outside game, likely without the victims knowledge of it happening, correct? So the victim essentially gets no justice at all, so while you may have dealt with the criminal, you did little to help Young Johnny's feelings from getting hurt, let alone fixed.

Personally I'd suggest encouraging people to stand up to the arrogant, selfish people who do these things. The people that do these things, and keep doing them, continue to do so because they know they can get away with it, and if they are smart enough, they can even use YOUR OWN SYSTEM to report the PEOPLE THEY ARE HARASSING. Honestly what is chat-banning going to do to stop someone from doing these things? They can still play the game. They play completely unhindered with no handicap. They can play whichever game mode they so desire. Its little more than a shield for the victims.

Frankly I don't expect much to happen to this, I doubt it matches up with your opinions enough to warrant more than a passing glance. But I'm sick of keeping my mouth shut so I don't get banned. I'm sick of spoilt brats thinking they can walk all over others because it's so hard to tell them otherwise (newsflash: "please don't do that, I don't like it" doesnt work anymore). I'm just sick of it.

What does it matter if someone instalocks or clicks on champion and waits 20 sec before locking? If he decided thats champion he wants to play, its his RIGHT to lock whenever he wants. You have no word or choice and noone is asking YOU about it.

If they instalock now, removing their ability to instalock isn't going to stop anything. They'll just pick their champion immediately and sit on it until they can lock in, and no amount of talking is going to change their minds. Especially not arguments about 'call order' or similar nonsense - In my experience, people who complain about call order to an instalocker just make them more likely to sit on the pick out of spite.
