Why do I have a chat restriction?

Here is my text from the 3 games that gave me a chat restriction. In all 3 of these cases i'm telling people who were ACTUALLY being toxic that they aren't helping anyone by being toxic. In this first game our top laner called me a "stupid %%%%%%" for absolutely no reason. I mean you can look at my chat, in any of these 3 cases was I verbally assaulting anyone? And you can hardly argue I am being negative, I am trying to tell negative players that its not helping and they should be positive. Please Riot, why am I being chat restricted?

PS: when you don't show the chat of other players as well, its hard to put things in perspective. In most of these cases people were acting completely ignorant and verbally assaulting me. With that in mind, please tell me how I lost control and was "toxic".

Edit: Hahaha Riot, my first game of the day after getting a chat restriction, I haven't even said anything yet, and in the first 5 minutes I have been called a "fking retard" already. PLEASE TELL ME how I get a chat restriction for telling people like that to knock it off, but they can call me a "fking retard" and I haven't even SAID ANYTHING. THIS SYSTEM IS FLAWED.

In all 3 of these cases there were people who were being EXTREMELY toxic and verbally assaulting either me, or my teamates, or both. I am telling them each time that its not helping and they are acting ignorant. I understand I can just say nothing, but with that aside, how am I being negative? I am telling them they are acting ignorant and its ruining the game.

It doesnt matter what others do. Only what you do matters when it comes to your punishment.

We are not ALL adults here. League is played by alot of kids.

Man... are we reading different texts now? I am not getting an answer its being ignored. Please explain to me what I said that is "flaming". do you know what that term means? lol. If my chat logs above are "flaming" then that is the most liberal application of the word I've ever seen.

And just because there are a lot of kids playing the game, does not mean I should restrain from telling them not to act ignorant and disrespect me so hard.

So again, what did I say that would be considered "flaming"?

i think its ok to be a little bit negative, everybody does at some point, these people on the boards will find the smallest little thing and say "punishable" just be assholes because it wasn't them who was punished. to be punished for something as small as this is pretty bs.

It's not a matter of being negative once, but doing so over many games, and usually more than just the three games you see on a reform card. Players who have shown to be consistently behaving this way are the ones who are punished. All we do here is show the people that come to us why the system thought these games mattered.

Telling negative people they are being negative and to stop being negative because its ignorant and it ruins the game for everyone... how does that make me negative? The way you did it, yes. But really, you shouldn't even try. If they cared about what you thought they wouldn't be toxic in the first place. You telling them isn't going to make anything better, but will likely make the situation worse. Mute and move on.

So as far as calling people out, what is wrong with telling someone, who has been intensely and ignorantly harassing you for over ten minutes, that they are acting like a child? Can you honestly say that someone is toxic for having to endure someone acting like that and then telling them to knock it off?

And insulting? what? How in the seven hells am I insulting this person? He has been calling me all sorts of rude things and harassing the hell out of me, and I told him he was ignorant and hes acting like an 8 year old. How does that make me the insult-er?

Do you really think im the problem here? Like for example, if this guy wasnt toxic this game, what do you think I would have done? Am I being the aggressor here? Or am I reacting to extremely hateful comments about me in a pretty reasonable way? Do you understand how escalated this conversation could have been? Think about it, really think about how calmly I informed him I didnt appreciate what he was saying compared to what most people would have done. Do you see me cussing at him? Do you see me verbally attacking him? This seriously is just a case of you telling me im negative without even considering ANY other variable.

Your actions are not excused by the actions of others.

They are just as accountable for their behavior as you are for yours.

And as far as the hate speech goes, not sure if that would actually count against you, but it is censored in the logs for a reason.

My question is, what have I said that is so negative? I am just trying to understand so I can correct any issues. I am telling people who are being toxic and negative that they are being toxic and negative. So by being honest that is negative?
