So why is player moderation being taken so lightly?

Lately I have began to notice.....alot of toxic players aren't getting banned...why...Why should someone be allowed to get away with telling me to kill myself and that I'm shit after their laner ganked my lane multiple times, with no mia, no warning, and no follow-up from them, are you saying its okay for people to abuse others? because its not, I should know, my mind is screwed from being abused in school for 10 fucking years I suggest you stop taking these reports on highly toxic players so lightly, as you will have people who will legitimately take these peoples advice and kill themselves, not everyone has the mental capacity/emotional control to take what someone said in a game with a grain of salt

ive said this a million times before. riot just needs to get rid of chat. pings have evolved to the point chat is no longer necessary. and often times, there are two separate games being played. the actual game. and the game being played in chat.

I don't mind chat, but when people abuse others it needs to be addressed more harshly, and especially with ganging up, this is another issue that results in many people taking the side of the flamer if their doing better then the person being flamed, but since someone reported everyone on their team, riot looks at them as if their just abusing the report system and bans them instead

maybe keep chat for normals. but in ranked. im sorry, chat needs to go. i would rather not be able to type and not have to deal with losing LP due to people concentrating more on chat then the actual game.

Currently, you'll only get a notification if the game you reported the person in was that game that got them punished. If they got punished later down the road, you'll never get to know.

Riot is aware of this problem, but they have to do some ground work first by completing the new client. When they do start working on the system's visibility, hopefully we can get something like this.

If it worked we would have a noticeable decline in the problems it is supposed to detect. We don't. It doesn't work.

No we wouldn't. This game has tens of millions of players, and not every case is crystal clear. I'd be surprised if they can eliminate more than 1% of toxic players annually, either through reform or bans, and a 1% change isn't very noticeable. The system can only reasonably go so fast.

The shitty system doesn't work, if it did you probably would have been gone long ago. How many more games did you ruin for others because you were allowed so many free passes?

Words can hurt people. However, if words from an anonymous person over the internet are hurting you more than a knife, you may want to look for professional help.

I'm an emotionally broken person, my family didn't care for me, my friends were all fake, I was bullied to no end (by students and teachers alike), I don't care if I live or die now, and every time I see people abusing their fellow man it just brings the question back to mind....why am I still bothering to live life

i can care less about trash talk, harassment, death threats, etc. that shit doesnt bother me, infact i find it highly entertaining. its the fools that intentionally WANT to lose the game that gets my blood boiling. the idiots that just give up after going 0/2 because they lost lane. the ones that intentionally int because jg didnt gank for them at the 3 min mark before they died. the shit fucks that constantly spam the ff button because they are not as fed as they want to be with riven despite the rest of the team carrying and having a significant gold lead. the clowns that want to split push bot lane as ash and feed the master yi because bard roamed once and the ash died because of it. THOSE are the fucking shitters that ruing games and there is jack shit you can do about it because they didnt say a word in chat.

always remember this children, actions speak louder than words. someone says you suck or tells you to go kys in game, MAN THE FUCK UP and SUCK IT THE FUCK UP because you know what? atleast that guy wants to win the fucking game, meanwhile the silent ADC or top player spamming FF every 5 seconds and gave up playing, ints 0/20 because "he no longer cares about this game" at the 3 min mark is where you should be directing ur rage to.

those kinds of people will NEVER get punished, and thats what infuriates me the most cuz i cant say a damn word to them. its like some autistic child throwing a temper tantrum in a retail story, throwing hammers at glass displays. you know you cant say a damn thing to him because if you do you are going to get fired and more than likely sued for telling an autistic kid to fuck off.
