Un-reportable racism?

So in a match I just played, a guy was suffering from major salt.

One of things he kept doing was talking trash about people from the United States, now I know that that's not a race but neither is Pakistani , however if someone says "XXXX Paki !!!" that's considered racism and yet, if they say the equivalent of someone from the U.S. that is not considered racism.

Of course I reported this person but I don't know if the report will do anything because I've noticed that racism against the U.S. tends to be accepted because .... well, ironically, racist reasons.

To clarify I am not from the U.S. but I consider all racism bad and thus, I report every instance of it. My question is; Will a person that is racist against people from the U.S. be punished to the equal level as someone who would do the same to another group of people? let's say to africans, or middle easterners.

It bothers me how much crap people mindlessly spew on the internet about Americans. Calling our military evil, blaming us for what people did hundreds of years ago, calling us fat. Glad to see someone got punished for this.

Nope, bad military management and the obesity epidemic :)

I don't think it's any secret that the people that hate us do it because we invade countries and start wars over oil. Or that we fight entire countries over terrorist groups (it would seem pretty silly for someone to bomb the entire US because a member of the blood gang killed someone, no?). And that we spend insane amounts on defense for no reason whatsoever, leaving us no money for things like schools.

I think it's even less of a secret that the US is pretty obese, and unhealthy because of it. I don't even see how this one could possibly be arguable.

The U.S. is one of the top three most "obese countries" in the world, sure, but it's not #1. Mexico is #1 in obesity worldwide (haha, suck it , United States and China)

Even if that's the case, spewing hatred to the U.S. for that reason is like saying that "All Islamists are terrorists", not all United States citizens are fat, not all Islamists are terrorists. Your argument is pure nonsense.

Uh, saying the US is fat is not the same as saying all United States' citizens are fat. We are a very fat country. We are a very unhealthy country. That is a fact.

Sure, unhealthy is fine, but discriminating against someone because they are from the U.S., using racist attacks because the country could be healthier, is racism.

The U.S. is not "fat". It does have high obesity but it is not #1 and even if it was, that is not a reason to spew racism and hatred to people from the U.S.... in the same way that calling Palestine a "Terrorist country" would be blatantly wrong, so is calling the U.S. a "Fat country". Racism = Racism.

I will report anyone that attacks people from the U.S. , or for being white, in the same way that I would report someone for attacking a Chinese guy for being Chinese.

Neither is Pakistan but if you say something against "Pakis" then you are considered to be racist.

If you say something against "Islamists" you are considered to be racist even though Islam is not a race.

I am not from the U.S. , nor am I pakistani or islamic, but I dislike 'racism' against anyone. It is not stupid to punish people that discriminate or spew hatred against anyone.

Just... please stop calling it racism. Saying that's racist makes you sound like a child and for some reason (probly cuz I'm an a hole) makes me want to automatically disagree with you. America is the "melting pot"... the reason it sounds racist to say you hate Pakistanis, is because you're probably from America, so you consider all Pakistanis to be the same color/race. In other words, they don't have the same diversity that America has. I believe it's called nationalism, btw. (Sorry for my bad granmar, English is my first language but I'm a dumb American)

I am not from the U.S. nor would it matter if I was. Self-hatred in the U.S. has become more and more common, as evidenced by you.

It's still not racist to hate "Americans" Of course, it should not be tolerated, it's negative or offensive language. However, just because ignorant people who ARE racist and hate Pakistanis because they think they're all Muslims or whatever, doesn't mean that hating Americans is racist. They're hating "pakis" because they're racist. People hate Americans because of terrible (debatable) actions that our government has done, and the way we portray our society through media.

Its considered bigotry, not racism, when you deal with just country prejudice. Try reporting them under hate speech I guess and just be really thorough in any report you do, detailing the situation.
