Make the Honor System More Elaborate

Riot, Can you make the honor level system be in line with your mmr in ranked games only? I do not think players would mind longer queue times if it means a higher chance of better players who do not feed 5 kills before laning pahse is over. It would also make climbing easier for people who do not want to play carries such as tanks and supports and some bruisers. In short, this game is too carry heavy. Too much damage makes the game heavily reliant on assassins and mages and adcs. It is very hard to actually climb in ranked if your carries suck and you are playing a tank or support. This season proved to me that Riot will not change their meta any time soon.

Riot isn't going to consider tying Honor into the matchmaking system - that would basically amount to Prisoner's Island, especially in the manner you described.

And, as it were, Riot has openly stated why they don't intend to do a Prisoner's Island type schtick. The long and short of it being, it doesn't help reform, and it just makes the game worse overall.

As others have pointed out, underperforming has nothing to do with Honor. It has to do with skill, and if you don't want teammates who underperform, then you need to perform better so that you can get better teammates.

This whole section is just a massive non-sequitur. You went from talking about Honor and player behavior to talking about the meta. If you want to talk about the meta, you can go over to Gameplay (although, the bar for discussion there is fairly high), otherwise, you can go to General Discussion, or RANT, if you just want to vent about the state of the game.

Youre tying skill to honor. They are not linked. Feeding 5 kills has nothing to do with whether or not someone is higher in honor. Idk maybe im missing something... the concept was confusing to me. Like linking your honor to mmr.... what do you mean? The higher ranked you are, the higher honor you have? Honestly just not sure what you meant. Im all for a more complex honor system, like being able to honor an opponent, I just dont understand your proposal.

Being honorable has got nothing to do with skill. In fact, many of the high MMR people are pretty toxic cos their egos are so huge.

What does honor have to do with people feeding 5 kills before laning phase is over? People do that whether they are honor 0 or honor 5. For someone to win lane, someone else has to lose lane, sometimes very badly. Honor has nothing to do with being outplayed, outskilled and snowballed on.
