LoL and toxicity as of late

Toxicity lately has been nothing short of appalling. Even in normal games players are still saying to each other "You're fucking shit", "Go fuck yourself", "You're inting", "Ah, thats why your rank is shit you fucking %%%%%%!" and things of the sort. Also I'd like to note that people are just passive aggressive now and there are few people who actually playing the game just for personal enjoyment. Instead they take pleasure out of making a certain enemy player feel like absolute crap.

This deeply saddens me and I truly do think that Riot needs to discourage this sort of behavior in order to make the game how it once was when people actually wanted to have fun and didn't want to flame people every single game.

I shouldn't have to mute them. Even I do it's likely that if the target is me my team will listen to them and report me.

If you don't do anything bad, no matter how much report you get...

"I shouldn't have to mute them." - Is it really so exhausting task for you to mute them? I mean it is literally one click, why is it such a big problem is you have to mute them?

No, it does not. Report =/= punishment.

Why not? That's waht Mute button is for, to cut the communication with players in your match if they are flaming you. Even if they report you, it won't matter as long as you didn't do anything bannable. Just don't argue with them and don't spam and you should be fine.

You do know that is a strategy right? Tilt the enemy laner to get him screaming at his team in which they scream at him it's like a chain reaction that snowballs the game.

How? Without directly insulting them. Giving them in a calm manner on how to improve. On how to not dive me when they are behind. Or How about you go help other lanes before I get too fed.

I'm not referring to that. I'm referring to the type of player/group of players that personally attack a specific member on the enemy team just for personal enjoyment. When I say "attack" I mean like the examples above.
