Possible Solution For Trolls/AFKers in Ranked

I've been thinking of this for awhile, and maybe other people thought of this too, but why don't we have loss forgiveness? I think to prevent slight abuse (friends trying to help imminent losses by AFKing) there could be some rules such as how many minutes the person had to be gone in order for the team to benefit. I'm not sure how fast the punishment system works, but maybe we could regain some LP when a former teammate is punished for intentionally messing up the game?

So like a tie situation?

Not really, the winning team still keeps the LP they get for winning. The losing team who had an AFK does not lose or gain any LP right after the match is over. For losing teams who had a troll/intentional feeder, they should be reimbursed LP after the person who intentionally messed up the game is given a punishment. I say "after" because this way the troll is proved to be guilty, and the system does not become abused to allow people to wiggle out of losing LP for invalid reasons.

It would be even more effective if any player with a given amount of offenses earns a badge indicating they are a troll of feeding, afk, flaming, no skill etc. this badge would prevent them from being grouped into teams with players who are trying to climb elo. to lose the negative troll badge they would need a certain amount of honors from team mates for a certain amount of games. with this system there would be a cleaner distinction between serious players and those who don't care about winning as much. BAM! solution! Riot make it happen!summoner 11
