Every game has an asshole in it, even in normals

I know it has to be hard for Riot to deal with toxic players, but lately it's gotten even worse than ever. Me and a friend like to play normals together, we never touch ranked. We played one game of ranked on accident and the experience was terrible so we're never going back. But now we can't even play normals with out some shitlord who bitches at you for supposedly being bad at the game just because you're struggling a bit that paticular game or you make a mistake or two. My friend has gotten to the point where he won't take this shit anymore, he refuses to not give them some lip back (nothing excessive, mind you).

People like that are wasting our time when we could be doing better things at this point. It's normals ffs, there is no stakes involved so why are people taking it so goddamn seriously? That's not to say we don't try to win, we do. But we're playing a fucking video game in the end, relax. I'm actually considering just muting the chat from now on which I've almost never had to do. Hardly anyone uses it for it's intended purpose, to give advice and team tactics, it's just a pulpit for people to spew their crap from. My friend has been playing Overwatch on the XBOX One and I've been thinking about getting one myself to play with him because he says it's a lot of fun and we wouldn't have to deal with this bullshit so much because they have a better system to deal with it.

Riot, you need to do better so we can play your game without our experience consistently being ruined like this.
