My old main account was perma banned almost a year ago.

Yeah, it was deserved. I raged quite often and blamed my teams for everything (Hey, I was bronze), and I got banned after awhile. Since then, I've leveled this account to 30 and peaked Silver I this season after reforming. I've not gotten a single chat restriction or toxicity suspension on this account since creating it almost a year ago. Not gonna give any sob stories about what I was going through at the time or whatever because thats just cringey and doesn't help my case.

Since this was a long time ago and I've proven I've reformed on this account by literally never getting a single punishment for anything, I was wondering if I could ask Riot to reconsider my ban. I was normally not even going to bother, but then I saw a video of Phreak talking about how they might reconsider the indefinite banning of Tyler1 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah5GKfg-qgQ ). If they would consider unbanning him for "reforming" after getting 22 accounts banned, could Riot please reconsider me and some other players who genuinely reformed and just want to play on their mains again?

I'm sorry to say, but Riot does not lift any permanent bans for behavioral reasons, unless there was an error. It's great that you have reformed, and I congratulate you on that, but I hate to say that you will not be getting your old account back.

For most people, when they get an account permanently banned for behavioral reasons, they do not get that account back, but they are free to make a new account and play on that if they wish.

For Tyler1, though, he didn't just get an account (or 22) permanently banned, he himself received an indefinite suspension from League of Legends. This means that Riot does not even want him to make a new account to play, and if they ever trace an account back to him, they will instantly ban it.

Now, as far as lifting Tyler1's indefinite suspension from League of Legends, it is definitely possible, and it's something that Tyler and Riot will need to work on together, just like Jensen did a few years ago. Of course it is completely Riot's choice if it happens. If they do lift it, it simply means that Tyler1 is allowed to make new accounts without having them instantly banned once Riot finds out the accounts are his. However, he will not under any circumstances receive any of his old accounts back. All of the accounts that are permanently banned will remain banned.

No, see, the difference is they would let Tyler1 create accounts again. Not give him back his old accounts.

you can be reformed. just continue playing on your new account.

T1's reformed means that he won't be permabanned on sight.

Neither of the reformed includes releasing old permabanned accounts.

Situation with tyler1 is different since he's been hit by a ban on all accounts he creates in the future dude to his extremely negative influence on the playerbase (and men in general). You weren't banned from creating other accounts.

Indefinite suspensions are not permabans.

Permabans are directed against ACCOUNTS, Indefinite suspensions are directed against PERSONS.

Even if an indefinite suspension is lifted, the account of said persons remain banned, and they have to make new ones.

They don't unban accounts for one reason $$$. Thats why most of your own community is afriad to even use chat since basically you will get banned eventually. Then riot doesn't care about unbanning you since you will need to spend money to get any of your skins back. This community will never realize it and thats why I play dota 2 with my friends alot of the time instead of this game since the community is half brain dead bronzies. At least in dota 2 they incentivized staying silent since you can make a new account and lower priority queue actually teaches trolls a lesson. In LOL you can get a new account like that from some two bit botter that riot never bothers to ban and be back to trolling and ruining the game. Heck I knew a rich bloke that buys new accounts just to troll ranked and since he spoofs Mac addresses and IPs he gets away with it. In Dota 2 he is just silenced every so often and never cares really to create another (even though all heros are free) since he actively buys the battle passes and buys skins for his windrunenr fetish (don't ask). And he usually just uses discord anyway. He also usually just uses discord like normal people in lol that want to communicate effectively. If they don't want to speak to you that is fine lol removed the failure to communicate penalty for a reason after all since technically pings are enough.

TLDR: Don't use chat it is a cash scam just use discord/curse. The chat bans are a cash grab and just don't type in chat. If you really want to say what ever you feel then use discord, you can say what ever you want there.

( if you want to let me know you can read things, post "Riot Lyte is gone but not forgotten" in your reply)

FYI I have several accounts and don't get banned on any of them because i go to the config file and remove chat by making chatscale =-150. I could care less what they say since this community is so bad about chat that most people just stop using it. Thats why in ranked(at least at the above gold lvl) all you see people use now is pings with one or two actually saying something.

People will try to post snarky comments after this one but please refrain. I'm more talking to OP than any of you, but if you want to add something be my guest but please be careful I don't want an argument.
