League client closed, 15 minute ban

Without warning my League Client closed, then began to update itself and "Check Files"

I was queued up, and got banned for 15 minutes

Is there any way to make sure i dont get in trouble for this? seems to be working fine now, just waiting for my 15 mins.

I had some difficulties downloading this patch, and then I've had a few really bad lag spikes during some games on it too. Luckily, I suck with Ahri, so running into the enemy team because of "attempting to reconnect" was just a drop in the bucket and really, my team probably couldn't even tell the difference.
