How do you get off a behavioral restriction?

I was banned for a week and can no longer receive rewards. I honestly don't mind as much not receiving the rewards, but after every game you get the text "cannot receive rewards due to a previous behavioral restriction" in the post game lobby. I was just wondering if there is a time frame for this, or if you need a certain amount of honor, or if it never goes away.
